BAKGRUND: Bröstcancer är en av de vanligaste cancerformerna idag. Det är bara fem procent av kvinnorna som insjuknar som är under 40år. Pågrund av den låga siffran av unga kvinnor som insjuknar finns det anledning att tro att vården till dem inte är anpassat till situationen de lever i. Pågrund av att de unga kvinnorna är få kan kunskapen kring deras upplevelser vara bristfällig och därför blir vården till dem svårare att anpassa. SYFTE: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kvinnor som drabbats av bröstcancer före menopaus påverkas i sin familjesituation och deras behov av stöd. METOD: Studien är en litteraturöversikt baserad på nio vetenskapliga artiklar. RESULTAT: Resultatet visar att unga kvinnor känner att de inte passar in i bröstcancervården. De upplever att vården till kvinnor i deras ålder är bristfällig. Det är en svår situation att vara mitt uppe i livet med barn, partner och karriär samtidigt som de lever med diagnos och behandling av bröstcancer vilket för många leder till ett livslidande. KONKLUSION: Det är viktigt att belysa de unga kvinnornas upplevelser för att göra vården mer anpassad till dem. Kunskapen underlättar sjuksköterskans arbete med att se varje patient som unik och behandla varje patient efter det. / BACKGROUND: Breastcancer is one of the most common cancer types. There are only five percent who get sick under the age of 40. Because of the low number of young women who become ill, there is reason to believe that the care for them is not adapted to their life situation. Because the small number the knowledge about the women´s experiences be flawed and therefore the care for them is difficult to adapt.AIM: The aim of this study is to examine how women suffering from breast cancer before menopause are affected in their family situation and their need for support.METHOD: This study is a literature review based on nine scientific articles.RESULTS: The results show that young women felt misfit in the breastcancer care. They experience that there is no care for women in their age. It is a difficult situation to live in the middle of life with children, partner and carrier during the diagnosis and treatment of breastcancer which for many leads to a life suffering.CONCLUSIONS: It is important to illuminate the young women’s experience to make the care more fitted to them. This knowledge facilitates nurse’s work to see every patient as unique, and treat them after that.
