Previous issue date: 2014-08-22 / Este estudo prop?e uma avalia??o de dispositivos, o mouse, a mesa digitalizadora sem monitor integrado e mesa digitalizadora com monitor integrado, utilizados na elabora??o de desenhos digitais. Elegeu-se como campo de estudo a Secretaria de Educa??o a Dist?ncia (SEDIS), ?rg?o vinculado ? Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte ? UFRN, localizada no campus de Natal. Coletaram-se os dados atrav?s de entrevistas semiestruturadas, question?rios e tarefas aplicadas por meio de teste de usabilidade, que consistiu na realiza??o de linhas org?nicas e geom?tricas, nos ambientes anal?gico e digital. As tarefas propostas para os dispositivos foram mesmas, os equipamentos utilizados foram o mighty mouse, mesa digitalizadora bamboo fun, pen and touch, e a mesa digitalizadora com monitor, cintiq 12wx. Para facilitar a avalia??o e as compara??es posturais e visuais dos resultados, os movimentos foram registrados com c?mera de v?deo. Espera-se que os resultados deste estudo possam contribuir para acr?scimos positivos em setores da UFRN que empregam o trabalho gr?fico digital, favorecendo com informa??es espec?ficas a designers e outros usu?rios da sociedade acerca da utiliza??o desses equipamentos. / This research proposes an evaluation of devices such as the mouse and the digitizer tablet with and without integrated screen monitor used in the creation process of digital drawings. The environment of study selected was the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte Department of Distance Education (UFRN-SEDIS), located in the campus of Natal. The data collected was based on semi-structured interviews, questionnaires and tasks like drawing organic and geometric lines, in the analogic and digital mediums. In the usability tests it was proposed the same tasks for specific tools selected for data collecting such as the mighty mouse, bamboo fun pen and touch as digitizer tablet, and the digitizer tablet with screen monitor, the cintiq 12WX. In order to ease the evaluation, the postural and visual comparisons of the results of the applied tests, they were recorded in video. It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to positive increases in areas that use digital graphic work in UFRN, developing specific data to designers and to other common users about the usability of these kind of equipment.
