The energy questions has been increased the recent years, specifically when it comes to the energy smart houses. In Sweden the interest for building energy smart houses has been increased yet it is not really popular to build passivhouses compairing with Germany but some people has started to understand the importance of building energy smart houses. It is possible to find some passivhouses around Sweden but yet it is hard to find new built passivhouses. This study is based on a comparison between passivhouses and regular little houses in Sweden. The Purpose: of the study is to lift up the difference of the energy requirements between respective houses. The Method: used to complete the study is literature study and object study. Information were taken of BBR, FEBY, other civil engineering related websites and it has even studied some bachelor thesis and scintefic articles. Results: this part is based on the energy calculations that has been done for both of the houses. The thermal transmittance and other concepts were taken on consideration. Conclusion: this part is all about to take up the differences and the similarities of the energy requirements of the houses that has been studied. And the end of the study is about to make sure if the houses fullfills the requirements or not.
