Previous issue date: 2006 / Resumo: As revistas da área da educação têm sido tomadas como objeto de estudo por diferentes áreas de conhecimento e têm se mostrado como fontes preciosas e reveladoras de concepções, valores, metodologias de ensino.No entanto, vários pesquisadores têm apontado para a necessidade de outros estudos que as tomem em relação com as leituras dos professores. Partindo da importância que as professoras em serviço e/ou em formação dão às revistas de ampla divulgação da área da educação, focamos nosso estudo nas relações e interlocuções das revistas e das falas dos professores sobre elas. Para isso buscamos conhecer quais revistas da área da educação os professores lêem, suas opiniões sobre elas e seus textos e as revistas enquanto objeto/instrumento de leitura e conhecimento dos professores, buscando compreender os gêneros de discurso presentes nos textos e as imagens de professor presentes nos discursos das revistas e dos textos.As concepções de Bakhtin, no âmbito da filosofia da linguagem, e as contribuições de Maingueneau, da Análise de Discurso francesa, ancoram teoricamente o estudo / Abstract: The magazines of Educational area have been considered as an object of study by different areas of knowledge. These magazines have been important and revealing sources of concepts, values and methodologies of teaching. But many researchers have pointed out the necessity of other studies that consider them related to the teachers¿ readings. Considering the importance that teachers, already working or still in formation process, attribute to the magazines of Educational area that have a wide divulgation, we focused our study on the relations and interlocutions of the magazine and of the talk of the teachers about them. So we look for the knowledge about which magazines of Educational area the teachers usually read, their opinions about them and their texts as well to know the magazines as object/instrument of reading and of knowledge of the teachers, trying to understand the discourse gender used in the texts and the image of teacher that are presented in the contents of the magazines and of the texts.Bakhtin¿s concepts, inside the Language Philosophy, and the contribution of Maingueneau, from the French Discourse Analysis, are the theoretical support of this study / Doutorado / Educação, Conhecimento, Linguagem e Arte / Doutor em Educação
