Barns relationsarbete i skolan : Inneslutning, uteslutning och mobbning

A school is a social area in which children and adults meet each other. The school is were friendship, love and also enmity arise. The process to establish, maintain, split up and end relationships is constantly continuously. A Childs way of creating relationships is complex. Bullying and similar offending treatment occur and has always been a huge problem in school. It is a problem that has existed as long as there have been schools. The purpose of my thesis is to investigate children’s relationships in school and in their leisure- time as well as to investigate the school and leisure- time work to discourage bullying and other offending treatment. In order to reach my goal I have used literature, I have handled out questionnaire studies to two third grades classes as well as to two sixth grades classes. I have also been interviewing a headmistress as well as a leisure-time teacher working in a school in Värmland which is of a regular size. Studies show that children's relationship work is a complicated process and children's social interaction and companionship occupies most out of children's waking hours. To exclude any child has been shown to be part of the children's relationship work works. Scientist explains that the exclusion and expulsion documents are used as a tool to build community cohesion and community in a group. Bullying and other kinds of offending treatment affect everyone not just the victims. You’re Child, relative or friend may have been exposed and that is the reason why it is important to highlight this issue.
