Syftet är att bidra med kunskap om förskollärares perspektiv på att bedriva undervisning i relation till de resurser som finns tillgängliga i verksamheten, samt hur de förstår begreppet undervisning. För att samla in data har jag valt att använda mig av en kvalitativ intervjumetod. Intervjuerna genomfördes med fem förskollärare från fyra olika förskolor i en mellanstor stad i mellansverige. Det insamlade materialet har analyserats med metoden innehållsanalys samt utifrån Bronfenbrenners ekologiska systemteori. Resultatet visar att hinder i undervisningen kan bero på bland annat barngruppens storlek samt att personalen är frånvarande av olika anledningar. Men resultatet visar också konkreta tips på hur förskollärarna genomför undervisningsuppdraget i förskolan genom att de skapar strukturscheman och delar på barngruppen. / The aim is to contribute knowledge about preschool teachers’ perspective on teaching in relation to the resources that are available in the preschool, and how they understand the concept of teaching. To collect data, I have chosen to use a qualitative interview method. The interviews were conducted with five preschool teachers from four different preschools in a medium-sized town in central Sweden. The collected material has been analyzed using the content analysis method and Bronfenbrenner's ecological system theory. The results show that obstacles can be due to, among other things, the size of the group of children and that the staff is absent for various reasons. But the results also show concrete tips on how the preschool teachers carry out the teaching assignment in the preschool by creating structure schemes and by dividing the group of children.
