Sámegiella gollegiella? : Kartläggningsmaterial och pedagogiska insatser vid lässvårigheter i nordsamiska

This study investigates how teachers work with mapping and pedagogical interventions in reading in Swedish and Northern Sámi, which interventions are carried out when reading difficulties are suspected, and what challenges the teachers identify in terms of mapping and pedagogical interventions in case of reading difficulties in Swedish and Northern Sámi. The method used in the study was interviews with active teachers in a Sámi school, that teach Swedish or Sámi. The result shows that teachers have difficulties in assessing whether it is the language or the reading difficulty that is the problem for the student, if the student has difficulties.
