This paper aims to investigate preschool teachers' attitudes and meaning making in rela-tion to the tablets that are used in the Swedish preschools. The study explores the ten-sion between preschool teachers and the tablets. The methodology used in the study is qualitative method, more precisely semi-structured interviews with six preschool teach-ers from four different preschools. The empirical data has been analyzed from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the domestication process of the tablet. Based on the analysis, we have concluded that preschool teachers see both opportunities and risks with using the tablet in preschools. The risks associated with using the tablet is however, related to the children, and not themselves. Hence, preschool teachers have a complex and ambivalent relationship with the tablet as a learning tool in the preschool environment.
