This study presents results of investigation about innovative teaching practices in higher education with the integration of Digital Tecnologies of Information and Communication (TDIC). The problem that guided this research refers to integration of TDIC in higher education, and if this represents innovative elements in pedagogic practice. It was defined as general objective to understand how the incorporation of these technologies in the pedagogical practice makes learning innovation in higher education. Moreover, specific objectives: Analyze criteria to defend the allocation of TDIC in pedagogical practice; making sense of innovation in teaching and learning; identify, from the perspective of teachers, innovative pedagogical practices and the benefits to the interaction relations established during the learning process. The thesis assumes that the integration of TDIC to pedagogical practices of professors in higher education bring innovative elements that modify these practices. The methodology used in the research was thematic oral history, divided into two stages: Selection of research subjects and interviews narratives of life stories and experiences of professors who teach and research in TDIC area in higher education in public and private educational institutions. The selection of ten (10) subjects was considered to be relevant to obtaining the results initially based on the reading of academic texts that approach learning with TDIC in education authored by subject narrators, followed by a screening by curriculum Lattes. The criteria adopted for the selection were: integration of TDIC in pedagogical practice, proven in scientific production and subjects taught; minimum of ten (10) years of teaching in higher education; research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and interest to participate in the research. The categories adopted for the study were: (1) Worldview or digital culture; (2) Meeting with the world of TDIC; (3) Learning with TDIC; (4) Conceptions of educational and technological innovation; (5) Educational innovation with TDIC. The categories were interpreted based on the reflective attitude of the narrators about seemingly individual issues and implemented in the community. The narrative interviews were collected in person and online via Skype, in the period from March to July 2015, followed by transcription, processed and analyzed. Search results guided the new looks that recognize the subject of learning as the protagonist of the teaching process and learning, and it is up to the teacher the possibility of self-evaluation, reflection and reconstruction about the pedagogical practice. / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O estudo apresenta o resultado da investigação acerca das práticas pedagógicas inovadoras no ensino superior com a integração das tecnologias digitais da informação e comunicação (TDIC). A problemática que norteou a pesquisa foi: a integração das TDIC no ensino superior representa um elemento inovador na prática pedagógica? O estudo teve como objetivo geral compreender como a incorporação destas tecnologias na prática pedagógica leva à inovação da aprendizagem no ensino superior. E como objetivos específicos: analisar os critérios para a integração das TDIC na prática pedagógica; atribuir sentido a inovação ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem; identificar, sob a perspectiva dos docentes, as práticas pedagógicas inovadoras e os benefícios às relações de interação que se estabelecem durante o processo de aprendizagem. A tese pressupõe que a integração das TDIC às práticas pedagógicas dos docentes em nível superior traz elementos inovadores que modificam estas práticas. A metodologia utilizada envolveu a história oral temática, realizada em dois momentos: seleção dos sujeitos narradores e a realização de entrevistas narrativas das histórias de vida e experiências de docentes que ensinam e pesquisam na área de TDIC na educação em instituições de ensino superior públicas e privadas. A seleção dos sujeitos em número de 10 (dez) foi considerada como relevante para a obtenção dos resultados, realizada inicialmente em textos acadêmicos que abordam a aprendizagem com TDIC de autoria dos sujeitos narradores, seguida de uma triagem no Currículo Lattes. Os critérios de seleção foram: integração das TDIC na prática pedagógica, comprovada na produção científica e disciplinas ministradas; tempo mínimo de 10 (dez) anos de docência no ensino superior; pesquisa e docência na graduação e pós-graduação; e interesse em participar da pesquisa. As categorias do estudo foram: (1) Concepção de mundo ou cultura digital; (2) Encontro com o universo das TDIC; (3) Aprendizagem com TDIC; (4) Concepções de inovação pedagógica e tecnológica; (6) Inovação pedagógica com TDIC. As categorias foram interpretadas com base na atitude reflexiva dos narradores sobre questões aparentemente individuais e concretizadas na coletividade. As entrevistas narrativas ocorreram de forma presencial e online por Skype, no período de março a julho de 2015, transcritas, processadas e analisadas. Os resultados direcionaram a novos olhares que reconhecem o sujeito da aprendizagem como protagonista do processo de ensino e aprendizagem, e ao docente a possibilidade de autoavaliação, reflexões e reconstruções acerca da prática pedagógica.
