O objeto desta pesquisa é o ministério feminino através de uma leitura de gênero a partir
das relações de poder no pentecostalismo brasileiro. Essa leitura é delimitada, a partir da
compreensão do ministério feminino no contexto da Igreja Evangélica Assembléia de Deus,
uma vez que se compreende ser ela a maior expressão numérica do pentecostalismo
brasileiro e que possui a maioria de seus membros composta por mulheres. Assim, a partir
de uma releitura histórica e sociológica pretende-se verificar a sua resistência em relação ao
ministério feminino. A pesquisa apresenta seu conteúdo em três capítulos: no primeiro
capítulo busca-se, através de um resgate histórico da participação das mulheres no
exercício dos dons no movimento pentecostal em seus primórdios, contrastar de forma
crítica, o posicionamento acerca do ministério feminino diante da riqueza histórica da
experiência pentecostal no Brasil e no exterior; no segundo capítulo procura-se averiguar
como são estabelecidas as relações de poder na estrutura interna das Assembléias de Deus
e a concepção acerca do ministério feminino na mesma, a partir do trabalho missionário
desenvolvido por Frida Vingren em solo brasileiro; no terceiro capítulo propõe-se a
construção de um diálogo com vistas à superação da resistência das Assembléias de Deus
acerca do ministério feminino, respeitando as especificidades do pentecostalismo brasileiro. / The object of this research is the ministry of women through a reading of gender based on power relations in Brazilian Pentecostalism. This reading is delimited from the understanding of women's ministry in the context of the Evangelical Assembly of God, since it is understood how the largest numerical representation of the Pentecostalism in Brazil, which the majority of its members are women. Thus, from a historical and sociological reinterpretation seeks to verify its endurance in relation to female ministry. The research presents its content in three chapters: the first chapter seeks to, through a historical review of women's participation in the exercise of gifts in the Pentecostal Movement in its beginning, oppose by critical way, the positioning about the female ministry before the historical wealth of the Pentecostal experience in Brazil and abroad; the second chapter seeks to examine how are established power relations in the internal structure of the Assemblies of God and the conception of the female ministry in the same, from the missionary work carried by Frida Vingren on Brazilian soil; in the third chapter it is proposed to build a dialogue with a view to overcoming the resistance of the Assemblies of God for ministry women, respecting the specificities of Brazilian Pentecostalism.
