Esta dissertação de Mestrado analisa as práticas de leitura em religião nos grupos de estudos bíblicos da Igreja Evangélica Assembléia de Deus, na Vila Iguaçu, no município de Novo Hamburgo, entre os anos de 2005 e 2007, trazendo alguns “atravessamentos” do mesmo estudo realizado entre os anos de 2002 e 2003, na Ilha da Pintada, no Delta do Jacuí. Problematiza a produção de sujeitos leitores assembleianos nesses espaços, entendendo que há neles a inserção numa cultura enfaticamente bíblica, que acaba por criar espaços de alfabetismos, conforme debatem os estudos a esse respeito propostos pelos Estudos Culturais em Educação e sua aproximação às análises da História e da Etnografia, as quais possibilitam perceber a existência de múltiplos alfabetismos, presentes em tempos e espaços sociais e anteriores à escolarização da alfabetização. Ao analisar os usos sociais da leitura, apropria-se da etnografia sob sua perspectiva pós-moderna, entendendo-a como um discurso, que, em suas relações de poder/saber, produz formas de compreender o “outro”, o mundo e a si. Assim, através da linguagem, constrói formas de inscrever a comunidade assembleiana no texto etnográfico, discutindo-a em sua relação à concepção mais ampla: o “crente”. Trata-se de uma construção histórica e culturalmente contingente sobre as práticas discursivas que produzem não somente o assembleiano, mas a própria experiência de si, envolvendo uma multiplicidade de estratégias e situações relacionais que visam à orientação das condutas, através da subjetivação de valores éticos e morais da crença, mediados pelos espaços de estudos do Evangelho, que acabam por construir espaços de alfabetismos. In this manner, through the language, it constructs ways of inserting the comunity of the Assembly in the ethnographical text, discussing about its relation in a most wide conception: the “believer”. It is about a historical construction and culturally contingent about the discoursives practices that produce not only the member of the Assembly but the self experience, involving a multiplicity of strategies and relational situations that aim at the conduct orientations, through the subjetivation of ethic and moral values from the belief, mediated by spaces of Evangel studies, which construct spaces of literacy teachings. It looks for the comprehensions about the readers and the reading practices inscribed in the diary of field, in 18 interviews, in photograpies, in many cyclical cultural artfacts, such as posters, flyers, books, hymn books, magazines, above all those especially produced to the nacional orientation of the biblical study space “Sunday School”, in which the observationparticipating in the year of 2007 was accomplished. It discusses the production of the reader in the pages from four magazines “Bible Lessons”, made and published in the same year by the Publisher House of Assemblies of God (Casa Publicadora da Assembléia de Deus – CPAD), and the magazines uses, comprehending as a product of intentions, expectations and investements related to the author, the editor and the reader, that makes different uses, many times, subverting those expected in the text production. We also see what the speech of the Church Assembly of God, told by their leaders, about contraception; Discovering because women use contraceptives and some methods not yet know others and in part the imaginary symbolic of women of the Assembly of God about maternity and contraception. This matter is of great interest to all of society, but, in particular, to health professionals, those investigating the religion and women members of the Church Assembly of God in order to hear the speech of the leaders of the Church , were conducted interviews with them in their churches, and women belonging to the Assembly of God Church and users of SUS, the interviews were conducted in Ciams New Horizon. At the moment to make a choice, but for women of the Assembly of God, they have not had much influence on the use of contraceptives. Buscamos também verificar qual o discurso da Igreja Assembléia de Deus, dito pelos seus líderes, a respeito de anticoncepção; Descobrir porque, as mulheres usam alguns métodos anticoncepcionais e não outros e ainda conhecer em parte o imaginário simbólico das mulheres da Assembléia de Deus a respeito de maternidade e anticoncepção. Este assunto é de grande interesse para toda a sociedade, mas, de modo especial, para os profissionais de saúde, os que investigam a religião e as mulheres membros da Igreja Assembléia de Deus, com o fim de conhecer o discurso dos líderes da referida Igreja, foram realizadas entrevistas com eles, nas suas igrejas, e com as mulheres pertencentes à Igreja Assembléia de Deus e usuárias do SUS, as entrevistas foram realizadas no Ciams Novo Horizonte. A fé e a religiosidade não são os únicos valores, levados em consideração no momento de se fazer uma escolha, mas, para as mulheres da Assembléia de Deus, elas não tiveram muita influência quanto ao uso de anticoncepcionais. Assim descobrimos, com grande surpresa, que o motivo principal da rejeição do método anticoncepcional Diu não é de caráter religioso, e, sim, uma preocupação com a saúde. Constatamos que as mulheres da Assembléia de Deus têm preferência pelos anticoncepcionais orais e que a igreja, através de seus líderes, não fornece muita orientação e nem proíbem o seu uso, deixando a cargo dos serviços de saúde, a orientação e indicação do uso de anticoncepcionais.

When we investigate a church, which became Centennial in our country, the Assembly of God, we sought to understand what, from its formation, consolidation and institutionalization, she manages to preserve its origins in the present day. From a case study in the Assembly of God in the neighborhood of São Miguel Paulista, we analyze the relationship of the Church with its history and check what are the traits that remain and those that changes. The Study of a local church, allowed us to understand, from the existing social relations in the periphery, that the changes seem to happen more slowly and, therefore, the amount of breaks and generally smaller than those occurring in urban centres and in higher economic classes. On the other hand, there are breaks, questions and even dissatisfaction from those who are capable, which make the churches suffer modifications and the searched church is no exception to this rule. Although there is a strong tradition in the Church of the periphery area, this also begins to look for their young and realize that to keep them, it needs to serve them. But it is in the form of care, however, that we find a dichotomy, where the perception of the need for change, is also present, the very effort to stay. Given this, we saw a church which, it seems to us, seek to integrate the young within it, but it still failed to do so with the society, and a youth that despite point to the importance of social integration, seems more concerned to leave the Church and society also separated / A presente pesquisa é resultado de indagações feitas a partir de como a Igreja olha para os/as seus/suas jovens, e como esse olhar ajuda-os (as) e envolverem-se e relacionarem-se na sociedade em que vivem. Ao pesquisarmos uma Igreja, que se tornou centenária em nosso país, a Assembléia de Deus, procuramos entender o que, a partir de sua formação, consolidação e institucionalização, ela consegue preservar de suas origens nos dias atuais. A partir de um estudo de caso, na Assembléia de Deus no bairro de São Miguel Paulista, pudemos analisar a relação da Igreja com sua história e, verificar ali quais são os traços que permanecem e aqueles se alteram. Estudar uma Igreja local, nos possibilitou entender a partir das relações sociais existentes na periferia, que ali as mudanças parecem acontecer mais lentamente e, portanto a quantidade de rupturas é, em geral, menor do aquelas ocorridos nos centros urbanos e em classes econômicas mais elevadas. Por outro lado, existem rupturas, questionamentos e até insatisfações, por parte dos adeptos, que fazem as Igrejas sofrerem modificações e, a Igreja pesquisada não foge a essa regra. Embora exista um forte marca de tradição na Igreja da periferia, essa, também começa a olhar para seus jovens e perceber que para mantê-los, precisa atendê-los. Mas é na forma de atendimento, porém, que encontramos uma dicotomia, onde na percepção da necessidade de mudança, está presente, o próprio esforço para permanecer. Diante disso, vimos uma Igreja que, parece-nos, procurar integrar o (a) jovem a si mesma, mas ainda não conseguiu fazê-lo com a sociedade e, uma juventude que apesar de apontar para a importância dessa integração social, parece estar mais preocupada em deixar Igreja e sociedade também separadas

Buscou-se verificar a recepção dos membros das comunidades comparadas às recentes discussões sobre a ordenação de mulheres ao pastorado e se o debate fez emergir novas concepções a respeito dos lugares que as mulheres ocupam nas comunidades selecionadas. Nossa abordagem se baseou na discussão teórica sobre gênero, destacando principalmente as contribuições de Joan Scott, Judith Butler e Pierre Bourdieu. Para dar conta da avaliação de eventuais transformações, historicizamos o debate sobre o lugar das mulheres e dos homens nas instituições religiosas pesquisadas, levantando dados sobre as configurações e reconfigurações das relações de gênero ao longo do tempo nestas comunidades de fé. Descrevemos os tipos de atividades desempenhadas privilegiadamente pelas mulheres nessas instituições, identificando, também, em que medida as mulheres reproduzem, subvertem, se apropriam e reinterpretam os discursos religiosos sobre as relações de gênero, bem como as eventuais formas de articulação entre interesse individual e interesse institucional. A metodologia adotada teve caráter qualitativo, realizada em três vertentes principais – observação direta, entrevistas semiestruturadas e análise documental.

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar histórias de vida de pessoas que saíram do mundo do crime através de uma relação cultural e espiritual com a Igreja Assembleia de Deus, no bairro do Cavaleiro, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, nos últimos dez anos., estaremos aqui analisando o discurso e o método utilizando na Assembléia de Deus no processo de ressocialização de pessoas oriundas do mundo da criminalidade, concatenando com os testemunhos produzidos pelos ressocializados.estudando as condições do sentido desses discursos entre indivíduos que se converteram, depois de uma vida no mundo do crime. Interessa-nos, particularmente nessa analise, estudar as marcas da memória e das lembranças desses indivíduos, que narram sobre a sua conversão e a transformações ocorridas nas suas vidas / This research aims to analyze the life stories of people who took the crime world through a cultural and spiritual relationship with the Church Assembly of God, in the neighborhood of Knight, Jaboatao dos Guararapes, in the last ten years. We are here analyzing speech and the method using the Assembly of God in the process of resocialization of people from the world of crime, concatenating with the testimony produced by resocializing studying conditions of sense these discourses between individuals who converted after a life of crime in the world . We are interested in, particularly in this analysis, consider the brands of memory and memories of these individuals, which tell about their conversion and transformations in their lives. / A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar histórias de vida de pessoas que saíram do mundo do crime através de uma relação cultural e espiritual com a Igreja Assembleia de Deus, no bairro do Cavaleiro, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, nos últimos dez anos., estaremos aqui analisando o discurso e o método utilizando na Assembléia de Deus no processo de ressocialização de pessoas oriundas do mundo da criminalidade, concatenando com os testemunhos produzidos pelos ressocializados.estudando as condições do sentido desses discursos entre indivíduos que se converteram, depois de uma vida no mundo do crime. Interessa-nos, particularmente nessa analise, estudar as marcas da memória e das lembranças desses indivíduos, que narram sobre a sua conversão e a transformações ocorridas nas suas vidas.

Verificando se esta denominação, quando destinada às classes mais pobres, utiliza-se de uma pedagogia específica para a construção de um modelo de comportamento e de interpretação do mundo totalmente circunscrito à religião, afastando seus fiéis do mundo laico e submetendo-os somente à sua autoridade e às normas impostas por suas lideranças. Também propõe-se pensar como podemos formar professores que pratiquem uma educação laica e humanística sem que se desrespeite a multiplicidade cultural e religiosa de seus alunos. / The objective of this paper is to study the question about the ideology in the speech of the education of the persons at the Assemble of God church, especially at the urban zone in the Presidente Prudente city. Trying to proof if this denomination, when put their focus to the poor people, uses a kind of special pedagogy to build up a behavior model and world's interpretation all inside the religious' ideas, making the followers of this denomination build another small world, far from the laic and under the power of the church's leadership. Also in this work there is the thought about a deep thought about how to improve the teacher's training that the teachers are able to practice a humanist and laic education model with respect about the cultural and religious multiplicity at the students.
