Bakalauro darbe analizuojami logopedo praktikos vertinimo aspektai, įgytos kompetencijos ir
gebėjimai.
Tyrime dalyvavo 53 logopedai, dirbantys Vilniaus, Klaipėdos, Šiaulių miestų ugdymo įstaigose 49
studentai besimokantys Šiaulių universitete, Socialinės gerovės ir negalės studijų fakultete.
Anketinės apklausos metodu tirta, kaip logopedai ir studentai vertina atliekamą praktiką, kokias
kompetencijas įgyja, tobulina, su kokiais sunkumais susiduria praktikos metu.
Apklausos rezultatai atskleidė, kad didžioji dalis tyrime dalyvavusių studentų ir logopedų teigė, jog
pagrindinės funkcijos, kurias vykdė praktikos metu buvo: rengė planus pratyboms ir vedė jas. Daugiau nei
pusė tyrime dalyvavusių studentų teigė, kad praktikos metu niekada nekonsultavo kitų darbuotojų kalbos ir
komunikacijos ugdymo klausimais ir daugiau nei trečdalis logopedų teigė, kad studentai praktikos metu
niekada kartu su logopedu nebendradarbiavo su ugdytinių tėvais ir artimaisiais, nors praktikos instrukcijoje
tai numatyta.
Praktikos metu atsiskleidė studentų mokėjimas parinkti mokymo metodus ir sugebėjimas taikyti
naujas technologijas. Studentai teigė, kad jiems būdingas mokėjimas sudominti mokinius mokomuoju dalyku
bei gebėjimas bendrauti su specialiųjų poreikių mokiniais. Daugiau nei penktadalis logopedų teigė, kad
studentams praktikos metu sunkiai sekėsi individualiai dirbti su mokiniais.
Logopedai tvirtino, kad studentai praktikos metu įgijo/patobulino šias profesines kompetencijas:

53 speech therapists working in educational institutions of Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šiauliai as well
as 49 students studying at Šiauliai University, Faculty of social welfare and disability studies took
part in the investigation.
Using the method of a questionnaire it was investigated how speech therapists and students
estimate their practice, what competences they aquire and improve, what difficulties they face
during the practice.
The results of the survey revealed that most students and speech therapists claimed that the
main functions they performed during the practice was preparing plans for the training and leading
it. More than half of the students that took part in the survey claimed that during the practice they
never instructed other employees on issues of speech and communication training. Moreover, more
than third of the speech therapists indicated that students never talked to their pupils‘ parents or
families together with a speech therapists because it was not covered in the practice instruction.
During the practice students‘ competence to choose teaching methods and ability to apply
new technologies were revealed. The students claimed that they possess the ability to engage pupils
