The purpose of the study is to investigate how teachers and special education teachers, through collegialcooperation, can help all students and especially those in special needs. This is done by creating aneducational model that will eliminate obstacles in terms of school difficulties and help students tointerpret instructions in examinations, for example those of the national tests in Swedish at uppersecondary school. An educational model was constructed after interviews with teachers followed bygroup discussions. The implementation of the model was then observed in the classrooms, discussed withthe students and evaluated by pre- and post-testing. The effect of the model was found to be small thusthe reasons for this outcome are discussed in the final section of the paper.
