Stridskraftsperspektiv på gemensamma operationer

This thesis explores Swedish military branches views on Joint Operations in the context of the evolving scope of warfare and Sweden being on the onset of NATO integration. It examines joint operations through the lenses of synergy, coordination, and interoperability among the traditional military branches Army, Navy, and Air Force. Using a qualitative methodology, the study analyses military doctrines and senior leader interviews, identifying a shared belief in the necessity of joint operations for future mission success. However, it also notes challenges due to the differing operational environments and capabilities of each branch. The results underscore the importance of developing a unified approach to training and operations to overcome these challenges and enhance operational effectiveness in a multi-domain battle space. The findings contribute to understanding how joint operations can address complex military challenges in an era where inter-domain cooperation is increasingly essential.
