Digitalization often leads to the more efficient execution of work assignments which may, in turn, lead to less usage of resources that can negatively affect the environment. In this report digitalization implementation of self-inspections for the electricity installations company PLW Gruppen AB is conducted, as well as tests to calculate its time and environmental savings. The result of the development is a webpage application that can create and execute self-inspections with an adapted page for the execution of inspections on mobile. Some functions such as PDF-export and digital signing have been added to simplify the administrative work. The result of the tests that have been conducted shows that the digitalized system lessens the time for administrative work and improves its impact on the environment compared to the paper-based system.
