Från den litteratur som studerats tas det upp att 5S anses vara ett av de enklaste leanverktygen för ett företag att implementera, men från en undersökning om 5S av Abolhassani m.fl. (2016) framkom det att endast 49% av de företag som deltagit i deras undersökning hade implementerat 5S. 5S är ett leanverktyg som används för att skapa ordning och reda, i detta arbete undersöks huruvida implementeringen av 5S har upplevts enkelt eller svårt samt om 5S har upplevts leda till någon skillnad vad gäller leanslöserier på företag. Arbetet utfördes med hjälp av en digital enkätundersökning och intervjuer av personer som arbetar som bland annat produktions- och kvalitetschefer. Från enkät och intervjuer framkom det att 5S påverkar slöserierna väntan och rörelse. Anledning till detta är bland annat att arbetarna inte behöver gå runt och leta efter felplacerade verktyg. En annan upptäckt var att implementeringen av 5S tycks vara svårare än vad som framkommer i litteraturen. För att föra arbetet vidare kan en undersökning som pågår under en längre period utföras. Detta för att ha möjligheten att utföra flera intervjuer och få in en större mängd svar från enkätutskick. / From the literature studied, it is stated that 5S is considered to be one of the easiest lean tools for a company to implement, but from a study about 5S by Abolhassani et al. (2016), it was found that only 49% of the companies that participated in their study had implemented 5S. 5S is a lean tool that is used to create order and structure, this study examines whether the implementation of 5S has been perceived as easy or difficult and whether 5S has been perceived to lead to a difference amongst the lean wastes. This study was carried out with the help of a digital survey and interviews of people who work as, among other things, production and quality managers. From the survey and interviews, it was found that 5S affects the wastes waiting and motion. The reason for this is, among other things, that workers do not have to go around looking for misplaced tools. Another finding was that the implementation of 5S appears to be more difficult than presented in the literature. To further the study, an investigation during a longer period of time can be carried out. This would give the opportunity to conduct multiple interviews and to receive a larger amount of responses from the questionnaire.
