Previous issue date: 2004-09-30 / The problem of this research becomes defined by the necessity to identify the limits
and the possibilities of the technical drawing teaching in the architecture and urbanism course,
seeking to contribute to the improvement of the contents and of the methodology of this
subject in the the Architecture and Urbanism Course of UCG.
This investigation was developed through the study of case which has in the
qualitative research its methodological reference. The content analysis was the adopeted
procedure for the obtained data study.
The systematization and analysis of the data are distributed in the introduction, in the
four chapters and in the final conclusion of this dissertation. The first chapter shows a
synthesis on the teaching of Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil, in Goiás and specially in
the Universidade Católica de Goiás, also presenting the relation between the technical
drawing and the Architecture and Urbanism course. The elements for the investigation of the
teaching practice are organized in the second chapter in which the following themes are
approached: the curriculum and the teaching practice, the learning activity and its structure,
the technical drawing peculiarities the spacional reasoning and the creativeness. The third
chapter is destinated to the presentation of the obtained data during the research. Therefore,
the curriculum of UCG is evinced, focalizing the technical drawing sequence and the data
relation to the categories of defined analysis: the teaching methodology, the learning and the
creativenes. The data analysis is done in the fourth chapter. Structured according to the
categories of this reseach, the analysis focalizes the technical drawing role in the Architecture
and Urbanism course, resumes the question of the spacional reasoning and creativeness and
seeks possibilities and alternatives for teaching improvement.
The knowledge of the technical drawing professor pedagogical pratice was one of the
achieved results by the reserch. Such knowledge made possible through the analysis the
construction of some consideration on the technical drawing teaching. Among them, it can be
evinced the necessity of a teaching methodology based on a learning activity related to
creativiness. This new methodoly requires changes in the professor s background, in the
teaching pratice and in the activities developed by the students. / O problema desta pesquisa define-se pela necessidade de identificar os limites e as
possibilidades do ensino de Desenho Técnico no Curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, tem-se
por objetivo contribuir com o aprimoramento dos conteúdos e da metodologia desta disciplina
no Curso da UCG.
Esta investigação foi desenvolvida por meio do estudo de caso que tem na pesquisa
qualitativa sua referência metodológica. A análise de conteúdo foi o procedimento adotado
para o estudo dos dados obtidos.
A sistematização e a análise dos dados encontram-se distribuídas na introdução, nos
quatro capítulos e nas considerações finais desta dissertação. O primeiro capítulo apresenta
uma síntese sobre o ensino de Arquitetura e Urbanismo no Brasil, em Goiás e, em especial, na
Universidade Católica de Goiás, explicita também a relação do Desenho Técnico com o curso
de Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Os elementos para a investigação das práticas de ensino estão
organizados no segundo capítulo, neste são abordados os seguintes temas: o currículo e as
práticas de ensino, a atividade de aprendizagem e sua estrutura, as peculiaridades do ensino de
Desenho Técnico o raciocínio espacial e a criatividade. O terceiro capítulo, destina-se à
apresentação dos dados levantados durante a pesquisa. Nele evidencia-se o currículo da UCG,
com enfoque na seqüência de Desenho Técnico e na relação dos dados levantados com as
categorias de análise definidas: a metodologia de ensino, a aprendizagem e a criatividade. A
análise dos dados é feita no quarto capítulo. Estruturada segundo as categorias desta pesquisa,
a análise enfoca o papel do Desenho Técnico no Curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, retoma a
questão do raciocínio espacial e da criatividade e busca as possibilidades e alternativas para a
melhoria do ensino.
O conhecimento da prática pedagógica do professor de Desenho Técnico foi um dos
resultados alcançados pela pesquisa. Tal conhecimento possibilitou, através da análise, a
construção de algumas considerações sobre o ensino desta disciplina. Dentre elas pode-se
destacar a necessidade de uma metodologia de ensino baseada em atividades de aprendizagem
relacionadas à criatividade. Esta nova metodologia exige alterações na formação do professor,
nas práticas de ensino e nas atividades desenvolvidas pelos estudantes.
