Defesa: Curitiba, 29/03/2017 / Inclui referências : f. 164-170 / Resumo: A cibercultura é um campo pujante de indagações e questionamentos na sociedade contemporânea. Internacionalmente, autores como Negroponte (1995), Castells (1999), Lévy (1999) e Keen (2012) são exemplos na problematização e tentativa de entendimento do fenômeno cibercultural sob diversas lentes e abordagens teóricas. Em âmbito brasileiro, seguindo esta tendência, inúmeros autores dedicam suas pesquisas acadêmicas a investigar aspectos concernentes aos fenômenos da cibercultura e, por consequência, há um número significativo de livros, teses, dissertações e artigos publicados em periódicos que buscam uma compreensão acerca do assunto. A partir do entendimento híbrido da formatação da cibercultura, entendida nesta pesquisa como campo autônomo, porém relacionado à Comunicação, objetiva-se realizar uma cartografia da produção científica brasileira, sob o recorte dos artigos científicos publicados durante dez anos (2006-2015) nos periódicos acadêmicos Qualis Capes A2 da área da Comunicação. Com base na adaptação das proposições da Análise de Conteúdo (BARDIN, 2011), o objetivo desta cartografia é o de realizar um inventário (FELINTO, 2007) dos principais objetos pesquisados pelos autores da área, bem como investigar as temáticas mais recorrentes nos textos, os campos disciplinares relacionados à produção acadêmica sobre a cibercultura e um levantamento preliminar dos objetos de interesse e técnicas metodológicas utilizadas nos artigos, a fim de sistematizar estes elementos para verificar como se estrutura academicamente a área no Brasil. Após o levantamento e a sistematização quantitativa dos dados, com o princípio de "pensar o pensamento" sobre a cibercultura, realizou-se uma análise qualitativa, com o auxílio de técnicas como o exercício de inferências e interpretações sobre o corpus, visando contribuir para novos paradigmas na tentativa de evoluir no âmbito do pensamento epistemológico da área. Com base no mapeamento realizado, na postulação das categorias provenientes do corpus e da consequente realização de inferências e interpretações, podemos concluir que a cibercultura constitui um campo passível de incursões e reflexões epistemológicas, ainda que seja considerada um território obscuro. Confirma-se o pressuposto de que ainda são escassas as tentativas de pesquisas de cunho epistemológico na cibercultura e, assim, a presente dissertação surge como uma contribuição relevante academicamente para a área. Revistas Qualis-Capes. / Abstract: The cyberculture is a strong field of inquiries and questions in contemporary society. Internationally, authors like Negroponte (1995), Marcuse (1998), Castells (1999), Lévy (1999) and Keen (2012) are precursors in problematization and attempt to understand the cybercultural phenomenon through different lenses and approaches. Following this trend in Brazil, many authors dedicate their academic researches to investigate aspects concerned to the phenomenal of cyberculture and, consequently, there are a significant numbers of books, thesis, dissertations and articles published in scientific magazines that seeks an understanding about the subject. From the hybrid understanding of formatting of cyberculture, studied in this paper as autonomous field, but related to the communication, the goal is to realize a cartography of Brazilian scientific production, through some cuts of scientific articles published during ten years (2006-2015) in "Qualis Capes A2" scientific magazines of communication fields. Based on propositions of Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2011), the objective of this cartography is to realize an inventory (FELINTO, 2007) of the main objects researched by authors of this field, as well as to investigate the most recurrent themes in texts, the disciplinary fields related to the academic production about cyberculture and a preliminary survey of the objects of interest and methodological techniques used in articles, in order to systematize these elements to verify how this field is academically structured in Brasil. After the survey and the quantitative systematization of the data, with the principle of "thinking the thought" about cyberculture, it was realized a qualitative analysis with the help of techniques such as the exercise of interferences and interpretations about the corpus, aiming to contribute to new paradigms trying to evolve within the epistemological thoughts of the area. Based on the mapping carried out, in the postulation of categories coming from the corpus and the realization of interferences and interpretations, we can conclude that the cyberculture constitutes in a field subject to incursions and epistemological reflections, even though it is considered an obscure territory. The assumption is confirmed that there are still very few epistemological research attempts in cyberculture and, thus, this present dissertation appears as a relevant contribution academically for the area.
