Previous issue date: 2018-02-26 / CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Essa dissertação buscou analisar o projeto Ponto de Memória da Terra Firme (PMTF), na perspectiva de um fenômeno socioeducacional, o qual ocorre na periferia de Belém do Pará. O PMTF estrutura-se a partir da criação do Programa Pontos de Memória (PPM), no ano de 2009, enquanto uma iniciativa do Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (IBRAM), em parceria com o Ministério da Cultura (MinC), a Organização dos Estados Ibero Americanos (OEI) e Programa Nacional de Segurança Pública com Cidadania (PRONASCI). A proposta dos Pontos de Memória é que a memória de favelas e periferias brasileiras seja evidenciada a partir das narrativas dos moradores desses lugares, tendo como foco, também, a criação de museus nesses espaços, a partir das metodologias de museologia social trabalhadas no PPM. Dessa feita, o objetivo principal dessa dissertação foi analisar as conexões entre os elementos da memória social e as práticas pedagógicas vinculadas à Educação Popular no Ponto de Memória da Terra Firme. Os objetivos específicos da pesquisa foram os seguintes: 1) descrever o ambiente onde são efetivadas as práticas pedagógicas formativas relacionadas à educação popular no PMTF; 2) Documentar os elementos que compõem a memória social dos sujeitos e moradores que fazem parte das atividades do PMTF; 3) Identificar os elementos relacionados ao modo de vida/memória social dos sujeitos quando em contato com práticas vinculadas à educação popular; 4) analisar a o diálogo existente entre os saberes populares dos sujeitos de pesquisa e saberes científicos dos autores selecionados para a composição do núcleo conceitual do trabalho. O referido estudo teve como questão problema a seguinte: como os elementos de memória social e práticas pedagógicas são analisadas a partir da educação popular realizada no PMTF? A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, de abordagem fenomenológica social, tendo o bairro da Terra Firme como cenário de estudo. Os procedimentos de produção de dados se constituíram a partir de levantamento bibliográfico, documental e entrevistas (semiestruturadas e grupo focal, em momentos distintos) com os sujeitos de pesquisa. Sendo assim, verificamos que o PMTF realiza no bairro da Terra Firme um trabalho de museologia comunitária, o qual permite visibilidade da memória social do lugar que pouco é conhecida, sobretudo, midiaticamente. Temos como resultados que este Ponto de Memória possibilita uma educação para a cultura da memória, na qual se enfatiza que a educação popular se faz por meio da cultura que emerge dos saberes do povo, como também da memória social. / This dissertation searched to analyse the project Terra Firme Memory Point (TFMP), from the perspective of social and educational phenomenon, wich one happens in the Belém do Pará's periphery. The TFMP was structured as a result of the criation of the Memory Points Program (PPM) in the year of 2009, as a initiative of the Brasilian Institute of Museums (IBRAM), in partnership with the Ministry of Culture (MinC), the Organization of the States Ibero Americanos (OEI) and National Program of Public Security with Citizenship (PRONASCI). The proposal of Memory Points is that the memory of favelas and Brazilian peripheries be evidenced from the narratives of the residents of these places, focusing also on the creation of museums in these spaces, based on the methodologies of social museology worked in the PPM. So, the main objective of this dissertation was to analyze the connections between the elements of social memory and the pedagogical practices linked to Popular Education in the Terra Firme Memory Point. The specific objectives of the research were: 1) to describe the environment where the pedagogical practices related to popular education in the TFMP are carried out; 2) Document the elements that make up the social memory of the individuals and residents who are part of the TFMP activities; 3) Identify the elements related to the way of life / social memory of the subjects when in contact with practices linked to popular education; 4) to analyze the existing dialogue between the popular knowledge of research subjects and scientific knowledge of the authors selected for the composition of the conceptual core of the work. The study had as problem question the following: how are the elements of social memory and pedagogical practices analyzed from the popular education carried out in the TFMP? The research is qualitative in nature, with a social phenomenological approach, with the Terra Firme neighborhood as a study scenario. The data production procedures were constituted from a bibliographical, documentary and interviews (semi-structured and focal group, at different moments) with the research subjects. Thus, we have verified that the TFMP performs in the neighborhood of Terra Firme a work of community museology, which allows visibility of the social memory of the place that is little known, especially, mediatically. We have as results that this Memory Point allows an education for the culture of memory, in which it is emphasized that popular education is made through the culture that emerges from the knowledge of the people, as well as from the social memory.
