Previous issue date: 2008 / Em setembro de 1929, o primeiro grupo de imigrantes japoneses entra em terras paraenses, mais especificamente à região Nordeste, dando assim, início à colônia nipônica na Amazônia. Haruo Onuma chegou em dezembro de 1929, compondo o segundo grupo. A sua futura esposa Mitsu Yamaguchi, desembarcou em 1930 na quarta leva de imigrantes a chegar no país. O casal juntamente com seus patrícios, participou ativamente da implantação da colônia localizada na atual cidade de Tomé-Açu, engendrando através da labuta e dos preceitos ético-estéticos japoneses mesclados aos saberes e fazeres locais, um conjunto de paisagens distintas no cenário amazônico, uma vez que sintetizam experiências civilizacionais diversas. O casal Onuma, por exemplo, edificou uma moradia diferenciada, durante o período áureo da pimenta-do-reino, cuja paisagem revela tal síntese entre visões de mundo diversas. A proposta deste estudo é a de interpretar as diferentes formas de conformação das paisagens constituídas pelos patriarcas da família Onuma a partir das memórias de seus parentes e amigos, considerando que tais narrativas expressam elementos que auxiliam na compreensão da subjetividade, do modo de ser e de pensar nipo-brasileiro no contexto paraense. Este estudo apresenta ainda, uma incursão ao universo do Bon-Odori - ritual que revela parte significativa das formas de sociabilidade vividas pelos nipo-brasileiros - o qual é realizado anualmente na localidade de Tomé-Açu. / ABSTRATC: In September of 1929, the first group of Japanese immigrants arrived in Pará State lands, more specifically in the Northeast Pará State (Brazil), giving like this, beginning to the Japanese colony in the Amazon region. Haruo Onuma arrived in December of 1929 and composed the second group. His future wife Mitsu Yamaguchi disembarked in 1930 in the fourth group of immigrants to arrive in the country. The couple together with their patricians participated actively for the implantation of the located colony in the current town of Tomé-Açú, engendering through the hard work and of the Japanese ethical-aesthetic precepts blended to the know-how and local practices, a group of different landscapes in the Amazonian scenery, once they synthesize several civilizational experiences. The couple Onuma, for example, built a differentiated house, during the golden period of the black-pepper, whose landscape reveals such synthesis among several world visions. The main goal of this study is to interpret the different ways of resignation of the landscapes constituted by the patriarches of the family Onuma starting from their relatives' memoirs and friends, considering that such narratives express elements that aid in the understanding of the subjectivity, in the way of being and of nipo-brazilian thinking in Pará state context. This study still presents, an incursion to the universe of the Bon-odori - ritual that reveals significant part in the sociability ways lived by the nipo-Brazilian people - which is accomplished annually in Tomé-Açú town.
