Previous issue date: 2017-08-28 / CAPES / O objetivo da presente tese consiste na investigação e apresentação da dimensão política do pensamento de Gianni Vattimo que, tendo origem numa crítica recorrente ao fundacionalismo da tradição metafísica e de sua verdade, desemboca num comunismo tipificado como hermenêutico. A hipótese apresentada é a da possibilidade da compreensão da filosofia de Vattimo como tendo uma motivação eminentemente política. Assim sendo, defende-se que o pensiero debole, com a mossa contundente de abdicação em relação à força da razão, tem um inegável impulso político que subjaz ao reiterado distanciamento da filosofia vattimiana em relação ao realismo e ao objetivismo da verdade, emoldurada na metafísica desde Platão. Uma verdade enfraquecida, ao invés de uma verdade forte, graças às condições de uma ontologia debole, revela-se não apenas como umas das marcas do discurso filosófico oferecido sob a sigla do pensiero debole, mas como o lugar a partir de onde se elabora um projeto político potencialmente alternativo. O comunismo hermenêutico se apresenta como o resultado da leitura que Vattimo faz de Marx à luz de Nietzsche e de Heidegger, mais notadamente do niilismo provocado pela morte de Deus e pelo declínio da presença peremptória do ser. A ontologia debole, tanto em termos teóricos e especulativos quanto em termos práticos e políticos, traduz-se na renúncia à lógica da fundamentação última da metafísica e de sua verdade, em consequência do que Vattimo apresentará o comunismo hermenêutico como um projeto político marcadamente “debilitado”. A pesquisa bibliográfica pautada numa leitura interpretativa e no exercício da associação de ideias foi o caminho adotado em vista da tese aqui defendida. Para tanto, foi traçado um percurso visando apreender e mostrar elementos conceituais da filosofia de Vattimo, os quais, estabelecendo interlocuções entre as obras visitadas, pudessem referendar não só a pertinência, mas também a validade da tese. A feição de originalidade do trabalho está na apresentação da dimensão política como aspecto fundamental do pensamento do filósofo do pensiero debole. E já que a literatura filosófica não explorou suficientemente essa dimensão da filosofia de Vattimo, a presente tese tenciona oferecer algum contributo para os estudos de sua obra e para o incessante debate na ágora política do tempo presente. / The aim of this thesis consists of the investigation and presentation of the political dimension of the thought of Gianni Vattimo which originating from a recurrent criticism to the foundationalism of the metaphysical tradition and to its truth, leads to a communism characterized as hermeneutic. The hypothesis presented is the possibility of comprehending the philosophy of Vattimo as having an eminently political motivation. Thus, it is argued that the pensiero debole, with the forceful blow of abdication in relation to the force of reason, has an undeniable political impetus that underlies the reiterated estrangement of Vattimo‟s philosopy from the realism and the objectivism of truth, framed by the metaphysics since Plato. A weakened truth, rather than a strong truth, due to the conditions of a debole ontology, reveals itself not only as one of the traces of the philosophical discourse offered under the acronym of the pensiero debole, but as the place from which a potentially alternative political project is elaborated. Hermeneutical communism presents itself as the result of Vattimo's reading of Marx in the light of Nietzsche and Heidegger, most notably of the nihilism caused by the death of God and the decline of the peremptory presence of being. The debole ontology, both in theoretical and speculative as well as in practical and political terms, translates itself in the waiver of the logic of the ultimate rationale of metaphysics and its truth, leading Vattimo to present hermeneutic communism as a markedly "weakened” political project. Bibliographic research based on an interpretive reading and in the task of ideas association was the path adopted in view of the thesis defended. In order to do so, a route was planned to apprehend and show conceptual elements of Vattimo's philosophy, which, by establishing interlocutions between the visited works, could ratify not only the pertinence, but also the thesis validity. The feature of the work originality lies in the presentation of the political dimension as a fundamental aspect of the thought of the pensiero debole's philosopher. And since the philosophical literature has not sufficiently explored this dimension of Vattimo's philosophy, the present thesis intends to offer some contribution to the studies of his work and to the incessant debate in the nowadays political agora.
