Previous issue date: 2013 / O presente estudo faz uma incursão pela CRP na tentativa de compreender como Kant pensa a liberdade no contexto deste livro. Grosso modo, temos dois problemas a considerar. De acordo com o primeiro, na Dialética veremos que há uma dependência da liberdade prática em relação à transcendental, a ponto de que a supressão desta última levaria ao aniquilamento da primeira. Ocorre que, no Cânon, Kant parece abrir mão da liberdade transcendental ao tratar da liberdade prática, já que o contexto do Cânon seria puramente prático e, como tal, questões teóricas não teriam relevância no contexto prático. Como compreender tal dissociação? De acordo com o segundo, na Dialética a liberdade prática era pensada como uma causalidade inteligível e independente dos impulsos sensíveis. Já no Cânon, Kant afirma que ela poderia ser conhecida pela experiência como sendo uma das causas naturais. Aqui a dificuldade consiste no perigo da liberdade prática, que possuía um caráter inteligível na Dialética, ser relegada à natureza, não passando assim de mera quimera. Assim, nosso estudo visa compreender tais problemas e apresentar três perspectivas de solução: a primeira mostra que há uma incongruência entre as abordagens do Cânon e Dialética, sendo o primeiro possivelmente um escrito pré-crítico (Carnois); a segunda procura conciliar ambas as abordagens, apontando para o caráter ambíguo da liberdade prática (Allison); a terceira também visa a conciliação dos dois textos, porém pensa a liberdade prática como um conceito híbrido (Julio Esteves). No final, faremos uma breve consideração acerca dos limites de cada uma das soluções.<br> / Abstract : This study makes an incursion by Critique of Pure Reason in trying to understand how Kant thinks freedom in the context of this book. Roughly speaking, we have two problems to consider. According to the first, in the Dialectic we will see that there is a dependence of practical freedom in relation to the transcendental, to the extent that the suppression of the latter would lead to the annihilation of the first. It happens that, in the Canon, Kant seems to forgo the transcendental freedom in dealing with the practical freedom, since the context of the canon is purely practical and, as such, theoretical issues wouldn't have an importance in practical context. How to understand this dissociation? According to the second, in the Dialectic practical freedom was conceived as an independent and intelligible causality of sensible impulses. In the Canon, Kant says that it could be known by experience as one of natural causes. Here the difficulty is in the danger of practical freedom, which had an intelligible character in the Dialectic, being relegated to nature, being nothing but a mere chimera. Thus, our purpose is to understand these problems and present three perspectives of solution. The first shows that there is an incongruity between the approaches of the Canon and Dialectic, being the first possibly a pre-critical writing (Carnois); the second seeks to reconcile both approaches, pointing to the ambiguous nature of practical freedom (Allison); the third also seeks to reconcile the two texts, but thinks the practical freedom as a hybrid concept (Julio Esteves). In the end, we will make a brief consideration about the limits of each solution.
