Nestes programas consta, apenas, o conteúdo a ser desenvolvido, sem ser apresentado nem trabalhado o método de sua implementação e socialização. Este estudo foi desenvolvido no Hospital Nereu Ramos, Unidade de Tisiologia, no período de abril a junho de 1997, utilizando-se como metodologia o processo educativo em grupo. Constituiu-se de quinze encontros com a participação de oito clientes. O processo foi construído a partir da interação e troca de saberes entre clientes e enfermeira. Compreendeu três etapas; entrosamento; o caminhar e desligamento do grupo. Nos encontros emergiram os seguintes temas: o processo de conscientização sobre a tuberculose e seu tratamento; conhecimentos e sentimentos sobre a mesma e, vivenciando o processo educativo na hospitalização. O estudo concluiu que a educação em grupo é um suporte para a conscientização dos clientes permitindo-os a compreensão e (re)conhecimento da doença. Bem como uma relação mais consciente com a tuberculose, mudanças adequadas sobre o estigma e a possibilidade de diminuir o abandono do tratamento.
Abstract : The present paper aims at implementing a methodology of education in participative health, within a humanistic perpspective, in order to help hospitalized customers who have lung tuberculosis, having as background a referential mark based on the freedom education of Paulo Freire, who contemplates concepts of participation, self-reflection, consciousness and transformation. Studies in this area are imperative, strongly because these programs encapsulate, only the content to be developed, but not the method of its implementation and socialization. This study was developed in Nereu Ramos Hospital of Florianópolis, Tisiologia's Unit, from April to June/1997, employing the participative educative process in-group. Thus, it's made of fífteen meetings with the participation of eight clients. This process was built from the interaction and exchange of knowledge between customers and nurse. This study is compressed of three phases: relationship or acceptance; the development na throughout the meetings. Thus, the following themes emerged: the consciousness process in relation to tuberculosis and treatment; knowledges and feelings about the disease and experiencing the education's process in the hospitalization. The study made possible to conclude that education in-groups is na appropriate means for the consciousness raising of tuberculosls carriers on allowing them to comprehend and recognize the disease, as well as a relation of consciousness with the disease, promoting adequate changes of knowledge, attitudes and behaviours in relation to the stigma. Besides contribuing to the subtraction of the abandon or flight of the treatment.
