Na escola uma das funções do ensino de literatura está no reconhecimento da importância da leitura. O aluno que tiver contato com livros em seu dia-a-dia escolar formará uma "consciência receptora" que poderá ser um referencial em sua vida. No mundo globalizado o progresso das tecnologias oferece novos campos para o desenvolvimento de competências fundamentais aos alunos. Para o professor o significativo é perceber a importância de não se curvar às lógicas dos ambientes e das linguagens de programação e sim utilizá-las e ultrapassá-las para que o valor primordial esteja no objetivo da aula e não na apropriação tecnológica. Com esses propósitos no Núcleo de Pesquisas em Informática, Literatura e Lingüística, NUPILL, da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, idealizou-se um cederrom literário que oferecesse uma série de informações correlacionadas com a vida e obra do escritor Machado de Assis. O objetivo do projeto é despertar, desenvolver e ampliar o potencial da leitura pelo aluno em um ambiente não-linear e multifacetado.
A great parcel of Brazilians is not familiarized with books, however they agree with the importance of the act to read in their lives. In the school one of the functions of the literature teaching it is in the recognition of the importance of the reading, the student that has contact with books in day-by-day will form a #receiving conscience# that will make the referencial in their life. In a globalization world the progress of the technologies offers new fields for the development of fundamental competences to the pupils. For the Teacher, the significant is to perceive the importance of not bending to the logics of the atmospher and the programming languages and yes to use them and to exceed them so that the primordial value is in the objective of the class and not in the technological appropriation. With those purpose in the Nucleus of Research in Computer science, Literature and Linguistics, NUPILL, of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, idealized a Literary CD ROOM that offered a series of information correlated with the life and workmanship of the writer Machado de Assis. The objective of the project is to wake up, to develop and to extend (can be enlarge) the potential of the reading for the pupil in a no - linear and multifaceted environment.
