2011_LuanaAlvesdeSouza.pdf: 990691 bytes, checksum: 01742edbe40825f0d3fdfd5196ec79f1 (MD5) / O presente estudo objetiva investigar o significado que os adolescentes e seus familiares atribuem à medida socioeducativa de internação e às medidas socioeducativas cumpridas anteriormente à internação. A partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, foi realizado estudo de caso de três adolescentes que cumprem a medida socioeducativa de internação no Centro de Integração de Adolescentes de Planaltina (CIAP) e que já cumpriram outras medidas socioeducativas anteriormente, bem como suas respectivas famílias. Foram realizadas entrevistas individuais com os adolescentes nas instalações do CIAP e visita domiciliar para realização das entrevistas com as famílias. Os instrumentais utilizados foram: observação participante, diário de campo e entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Para a análise e a interpretação dos dados, foi utilizada a técnica da análise de conteúdo com a observação para as sugestões e críticas apresentadas por Minayo (1993 e 1994). Os achados da pesquisa evidenciam que as medidas socioeducativas são significadas de modo diferente pelos sujeitos pesquisados, sendo que para as famílias, as medidas em meio aberto são consideradas ineficazes, sendo a internação a única medida socioeducativa que consegue garantir a “proteção” de seus filhos. Por outro lado, para os adolescentes, ambas as medidas são significadas como sem importância para suas vidas, com ressalvas para a internação, por ser a única medida que consegue provocar “alguma coisa” nos adolescentes, seja raiva, revolta ou sentimento de injustiça. De modo geral, a medida socioeducativa de internação é concebida de modo paradoxal, pois, ao mesmo tempo em que restringe a liberdade, um dos direitos fundamentais, ela garante aos adolescentes o mínimo de proteção que as medidas em meio aberto não conseguem. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This study aims to investigate the meaning that adolescents and their families attribute to socio-educational term of freedom privation and also to the others socio-educational terms previously attended before the freedom privation. Based on a qualitative approach, it was conducted a case-study of three adolescents and their families. These adolescents attend to socio-educational term of freedom privation in the Centro de Integração de Adolescentes de Planaltina (CIAP) and also they previously attended to others socio-educational terms. Individual interviews with the adolescents in the CIAP were recorded. It was also conducted parental visits. It was used the following instruments: participant observation, a field diary and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis and interpretation was based on Minayo‟s (1993, 1994) content analysis technique with observation in order to suggest and criticize. The research findings show that the socio-educational terms are differently evaluated by the subjects. The families think that the socio-educational terms in open environment are ineffective while the socio-educational term with freedom privation is the only one which can guarantee their son‟s protection. On the other side, the adolescents say that both socio-educational terms are meaningless, except the freedom privation, which causes anger, rebellion or injustice felling. Broadly speaking, the freedom privation is paradoxical, because at the same time that restricts freedom, one of the fundamental rights, it guarantees the minimum of protection that the socio-educational terms in open environment do not.
