Previous issue date: 1996 / Resumo: Este estudo insere-se na temática "lazer e trabalho" e aborda os sentidos do termo lazer como possibilidades determinadas pelos contextos e posições ideológicas. Objetivando localizar razões para o aparecimento e o silenciamento do 'lazer' nas Resoluções do 3o e 4o. Congressos da Central Única dos Trabalhadores optamos por investigar os sentidos do termo nos discursos produzidos por 'trabalhadores organizados em um sindicato cutista' e pela 'teorização sobre o lazer'. Tal investigação busca captar diferenças de sentidos atribuídos ao termo nestas formações discursivas que podem estar determinando o silenciamento. Elege-se como metodologia a 'Análise de Discurso' na vertente francesa, segundo às concepções de Pêcheux (1988) e Orlandi (1992). A análise restringe-se a alguns autores que discutem a temática do lazer na atualidade, às Resoluções do 4o. Concut e entrevistas realizadas com diretores e funcionários do Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos de São José dos Campos. Através da verificação de repetições de termos e da multiplicidade de sentidos que marcam estas repetições, destacamos no discurso da 'teoria do lazer' os 'valores' do lazer e no discurso de trabalhadores organizados em sindicatos os sentidos de 'luta' e 'cultura'. Observamos que enquanto o discurso da teorização preocupa-se com a atribuição de 'valores' ao lazer como atividade de ocupação do tempo disponível onde exercita-se a ludicidade e a resistência, o discurso de trabalhadores sindicalistas preocupa-se em encontrar formas de garantir a representatividade de classe através da manutenção da 'unidade' do 'sujeito coletivo'. Nestes contextos são produzidos sentidos diferenciados para o lazer que guardam, ao mesmo tempo, proximidades e discrepâncias a depender da direção político-ideológicas das definições. Trata-se de uma primeira investigação que ainda não explicita de todo as razões do silenciamento sobre a temática do lazer nas Resoluções do 4o. Concut, sinalizando, entretanto que este silenciamento está marcado pelos acontecimentos políticos do período histórico em que foram produzidas as Resoluções e pelas disputas internas à CUT quanto às direções políticas que devem ser dadas as ações e propostas. O estudo lança como uma das hipóteses a serem investigadas posteriormente que, variando entre tendências socialistas e social-democratas, cada uma destas posições em disputa estaria significando de maneira político-ideológica diferenciada a temática do lazer, ressaltando a importância de investigações que busquem demonstrar as determinações ideológicas nas decisões quanto ao planejamento da temática em diferentes instâncias / Abstract: This investigation is insert in the theme 'leisure an work¿ and broaches the senses of the term leisure as possibilities determined by the contexts and ideological stands. We have decided for the investigation of the senses of the term in the speeches produced by organized workers of a 'cut¿ sindicate and by the 'theory about leisure¿, aiming to find reasons for the appearing and the omission of the term leisure in the Resolutions of the 3rd and 4th Congress of the 'Central Única dos Trabalhadores¿. Such investigation seeks to catch some differences of the senses attached to the term in these discoursive work-bildings which can be detennining the omission.. The 'analysis of speech¿, in the french tendency according to the Orlandi's (1992) and Pêcheux (1988) concepts, is elected to be the metodology. The analysis limits itself to some authors who discuss the theme on leisure nowadays, to the Resolutions of the 4th 'Concut¿ and interviews granted by directors and funcionaires of the metalurgical workers' syndicate of São José dos Campos. Verifying the repetitions of terms and the multiplicity of senses which indicate these repetitions, we make salient the 'values¿ of leisure in the discourse about the 'theory of leisure¿ and senses of 'conflict¿ and 'culture¿ in the sindicalistical workewrs'speech. We notice that, while the discourse of the theory is preocuppied with attachment of 'values¿ to leisure, as a disposable time activity, when the state of being ludic and the resistence are practised, the sindicalist workers' speech is concerned to find manners to guarantee the class representation by the keeping of the 'unity¿ of the 'collective subject¿. Different senses for leisure, which keep, at the same time, proximities and discrepancies depending on the political ideological direction of the definitions, are produced in these contexts. This study is the first investigation which does not yet explicity express the causes of the omission about the theme of leisure on the resolutions of the 4th 'concut¿, showing, howewer, that this omission is marked by the political facts of the historical period when the Resolutions were produced and by the internal disputes at the 'Cut¿ about the political directions which must be given to the actions and proposals. The investigation launches as one of the hipothesis which will be examined later, that, varying between social democrat and socialist tendencies, each of these disputing stands would be seeing the theme on leisure from a different political ideological point of view, making noteworthing the importance of the investigations in the decisions on the theme planning in different instances / Mestrado / Mestre em Educação Física
