La presente investigación consta de un diseño no experimental transversal y correlacional, el objetivo es establecer si existe correlación entre las variables actitudes ante la muerte y motivación laboral en personal de enfermería que atienden pacientes oncológicos. Participaron licenciados en enfermería (N=150) con edades comprendidas entre 25 a 55 años, a quienes se les administró el Cuestionario de actitudes ante la muerte (Vizcarra, 2012) y la Escala de Motivación Laboral (Gagné, Forest, Gilbert, Aubé, Morin, & Malorni, 2012), para luego establecer si se correlacionan o no las variables en estudio. El análisis y procesamiento de datos aplicó técnicas de estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados evidencian que la relación entre ambas variables es inexistente. Respecto a las comparaciones, las profesionales de sexo femenino, casadas, presentan actitudes positivas frente al ejercicio de su labor. Asimismo, se identificó la ausencia de investigaciones que involucren ambas variables para poder contrastarlas en la discusión. / The present investigation consists of a cross-sectional and correlational non-experimental design, the objective is to identify the attitudes towards death and work motivation in nurses who attend oncological patients. Nursing graduates participated (N = 150) with an age range of 25 to 55 years, who were administered the Questionnaire of attitudes to death (Vizcarra, 2012) and the Labor Motivation Scale of (Gagné, Forest, Gilbert , Aubé, Morin, & Malorni, 2012), to then establish the relationship between both variables. The analysis and data processing applied descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results show that the relationship between both variables is non-existent. With respect to the comparisons, married and married professionals have positive attitudes towards the performance of their work. Likewise, the absence of investigations involving both variables was identified to be able to contrast them in the discussion. / Tesis
