Orientador: Raquel Lazzari Leite Barbosa / Banca: Alonso Bezerra de Carvalho / Banca: Raimunda Abou Gebran / Resumo: O baixo desempenho dos estudantes brasileiros do Ensino Médio no que se refere à leitura e à produção de texto escrito é um dos problemas apontados pelas pesquisas do Programa Internacional de Avaliação de Alunos (PISA) que requer ações efetivas do nosso sistema educacional com vistas à sua reversão. A partir desses apontamentos, elaborou-se o projeto e definiu-se como objetivo principal da pesquisa contribuir para a compreensão e o aprimoramento do processo de produção textual em sala de aula. Para tanto, num primeiro momento da investigação, fez-se uma revisão da literatura existente sobre o tema e, como procedimentos metodológicos, fez-se a análise de cinco textos dissertativo-argumentativos retirados de revistas e jornais brasileiros de grande circulação. Esses textos foram estudados nos seus aspectos dialógicos e argumentativos durante a aplicação de uma prática de produção de textos desse gênero com seis alunos do segundo ano do curso Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho, da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - UTFPR, câmpus Medianeira, tratando do tema "Criminalidade no Brasil". Ao lado dessas atividades, os sujeitos da pesquisa também produziram, individualmente, um texto dissertativo-argumentativo no início da investigação, vários textos intermediários e outro texto no seu final. Entre os textos iniciais e os textos finais, foi realizada uma análise comparativa, contemplando, entre outros aspectos, a estrutura argumentativa, o dialogismo existente entre os textos e o emprego dos operadores argumentativos. Quanto à metodologia utilizada, dentro do universo da pesquisa qualitativa, a investigação feita se classifica como pesquisa-ação. Os resultados obtidos indicam que os procedimentos metodológicos adotados interferiram de maneira positiva na produção textual dos sujeitos da pesquisa. A expectativa é que este trabalho traga, de alguma forma, contribuições no sentido de... / Abstract: The poor performance of Brazilian high school students for reading and writing texts is one of the problems highlighted by researches of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) which requires, from our educational system, urgent and effective actions seeking its reversal. From those findings, we drew up the project and defined as main objective of the research to contribute to the understanding and improving the process of writing texts in classes. For that, at first, we made a review of literature about the subject and, as methodological procedures, we analyzed five dissertative-argumentative texts gotten from Brazilian magazines and newspapers of general circulation. Those texts were studied in their dialogical and argumentative aspects during the application of a practice of texts writing, of that text genre, with six students, on the second grade, of the Health and Safety at Work Technical Course, of the Federal University of Technology in Paraná - UTFPR, Medianeira City, addressing the theme "Crime in Brazil". Besides the mentioned activities, the survey participants also wrote individually a dissertative-argumentative text at the beginning of the investigation, several intermediate ones and another text at the end. Between the early and the final texts, a comparative analysis was carried out, covering, among other things, the argumentative structure, the existing dialogism and the use of argumentative operators in the texts. Regarding the methodology used, within the universe of qualitative research, the research made is classified as action research. The results gotten show that the methodological procedures used for the research interfered positively in the students‟ texts writing. The expectation of this study is that it brings in some way, contributions towards making the writing in classes, more productive and motivating. / Mestre
