Orientador: Luiz Antônio Calmon Nabuco Lastória / Banca: Édson Olivari de Castro / Banca: Ari Fernando Maia / Banca: Bruno Pucci / Banca: Nilce Maria Altenfelder Silva de Arruda Campos / Resumo: Ao longo da história médica a definição e, consequentemente, a forma de se firmar o diagnóstico do Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) criou um verdadeiro engodo que culminou em uma medicalização excessiva e questionável de crianças participantes de um cenário educacional e social cada vez mais massificado pela sociedade midiática. Essa medicalização da vida, no ambiente escolar, que se realiza aliada a um processo histórico e social de disciplinarização, imposto pela biopolítica e pelo biopoder, levou a um aumento de diagnósticos visando melhorar o desempenho do aluno. Desse modo, quem não se enquadra no padrão idealizado, logo é encaixado no diagnóstico de TDAH e sua terapêutica medicamentosa, o fármaco metilfenidato. O termo diagnóstico é entendido aqui como um dispositivo, foucaultiano, que tem sempre uma função estratégica concreta e se inscreve sempre em uma relação de poder que captura e determina a conduta dos sujeitos. Christoph Türcke (2010b) nos auxilia na compreensão sobre o que se passa com essas crianças vítimas do "não-aprender" ao falar sobre os choques imagéticos; para ele o choque de imagens apresentadas pelos aparatos audiovisuais exerce uma fascinação estética, ao fornecer sempre novas imagens, que penetra em toda a vida cotidiana estabelecendo um espaço mental, em regime de atenção excessiva, nesta nova geração. Como ficará, então, a constituição humana sustentada por imagens, ou melhor, pelo choque de imagens em sua excessiva... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Throughout the medical history, the setting and, consequently, the way to establish a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) created a real trap that culminated in a questionable and excessive medicalization of children participating of a educational and social scenario, increasingly by mass-media society. This medicalization of life in the school's environment is held together with a historical and social process of disciplining imposed by biopolitics and biopower, which led to increase of diagnoses in order to improve student achievement. That way, anyone who does not fit the created pattern, is then embedded in the diagnosis of ADHD and its drug therapy, the drug methylphenidate. The term diagnosis is understood here as a device, from Foucault, who always has a strategic function and subscribes always in a power relationship that captures and determines the conduct of the subject. Christoph Türcke (2010b) assists us in understanding about what's going on with these children victims of "not learning" when talking about the media shocks, for him the clash of images presented by the audiovisual apparatuses exerts a fascination that aesthetic to always provide new images, penetrate throughout everyday life by establishing a mental space, excessive attention to this new generation. As then, the human Constitution supported by images, or rather, by the clash of images in your excessive repetition? New patterns of socialization that way are going to settle in can call a subjective mutation linked to images, in a regime of attention placed on the March by culture current multimidiática called distraction focused. Education, as an essential part of civilized life, became herself, also a high-tech society, whose overlapping technologies to the subject in a gradual alienation.
