Orientador: Edilson Moreira de Oliveira / Banca: Priscila Domingues de Azevedo Ramalho / Banca: Maria Cristina de Senzi Zancul / Resumo: Reconhecendo que a Educação Ambiental deve estar presente na Educação Infantil e que a pesquisa científica em educação contribui para a construção do pensamento educacional brasileiro, sendo que o conjunto de conhecimentos científicos produzidos influencia e direciona a prática pedagógica e o cotidiano nas instituições e, reconhecendo que a Educação Ambiental na Educação Infantil é uma área bastante recente e que necessita de mais estudos, indagamos: o que apresentam as recentes produções acadêmicas sobre a Educação Ambiental na Educação Infantil? Portanto, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo investigar as pesquisas acadêmicas que foram produzidas no contexto da pós- graduação em Educação e em outros espaços significativos para a área. Foram analisadas as produções acadêmicas brasileiras disponíveis no Banco de Teses da Capes e na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, Anped, EPEA e no periódico Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental, entre os anos de 2004 a 2014, que tiveram como foco a Educação Ambiental no contexto da Educação Infantil. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida numa abordagem qualitativa (BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1994), a partir do procedimento metodológico da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental (MARIN et al, 2005). A análise dos dados foi realizada tendo por base o referencial teórico elaborado. Os temas oriundos das leituras das 14 produções acadêmicas selecionadas para análise foram divididos assim: a) criança, infância e Educação Infantil; b) Educação Ambiental... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Acknowledging that Environmental Education must be present in Early Childhood Education and that scientific research in education contributes to the construction of Brazilian education theory, and that the set of scientific knowledge produced influences and directs teaching practice and daily life in institutions, and recognizing that Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education is a very recent area which needs more studies, we ask: what do recent academic research about Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education show? Therefore, the present work aims to investigate academic research that were produced in post-graduation in education and in other contexts which are significant for the area. Brazilian academic productions available at Banco de Teses da Capes and at Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, Anped, EPEA and at the periodic Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental were analyzed. The productions range from 2004 to 2014 and focus on Environmental Education in the context of Early Childhood Education. The present study was developed in a qualitative approach (BOGDAN and BIKLEN, 1994), based on the methodological procedure of bibliographical and documentary research (MARIN et al, 2005). The analysis of the data was made based on the theoretical framework elaborated. The themes from the 14 academic productions selected for analysis were divided a priori: a) child, childhood and Early Childhood Education; b) Environmental Education; c) Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education; d) Subject matter / objective; e) methodological approach and f) conclusions. The main trends observed in the analysis of the selected papers for this research indicate that there are productions that presented a more generic approach, since they did not explicitly address Environmental Education in the context of Early Childhood Education, productions that were dedicated to the...
