Vår uppsats syfte är att belysa konsekvenser av ett nyinfört samarbete mellan verksamhetsområden inom vård- och omsorgsorganisationer. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med enhetschefer samt omvårdnadspersonal så har det empiriska materialet samlats in från två olika kommuner i Sverige. För att analysera har vi använt oss av administrativ teori samt teorier om ledarskap. Resultatet visade att enhetschefer tenderar att vara mer positiva inför samarbete som arbetsform än omvårdnadspersonal. Vi menar att även om båda yrkeskategorierna arbetar utifrån samma mål, att ge god omvårdnad för brukarna, så skiljer sig synen på samarbete som arbetsmetod. Vår slutsats är att enhetschefer tenderar att se på samarbete utifrån vad som gynnar organisationen. Omvårdnadspersonal ser istället på samarbete utifrån vad som gynnar arbetsplatsen. / The aim of this study is to investigate the consequences of a newly introduced cooperation between units within social care organizations in Sweden. The empirical data is based on qualitative interviews with two focus groups, care workers (n=4) and unit managers (n=2) in two different muncipalities. For the analysis we have used adminstrative theory and theories of leadership. The result showed that unit managers tend to have more positive attitudes towards cooperation as a way of working, than the attitudes of care workers. We argue that even though they aim for the same result, giving good care for their patients, they have different views of cooperation as a working method. Our conclusion is that unit managers tend to promote the interest of the organisation, while care workers tend to promote their own working conditions when it comes to organizational changes.
