My master's project is a graphic novel about adoption and includes a project report. This book is a manuscript where some of the pages are fully finished to show the intended outcome. The book aims to criticize and expand the image of adoption through a personal perspective. It’s about he experience of being internationally and trans-racially adopted and what it was like to grow up as an Asian in a white family in northern Sweden. The theme spans a depiction of class, race, taste and in-betweenship. / Mitt masterprojekt är en bildroman om adoption som även inkluderar en projektrapport. Boken är ett manus där delar av bokens bilder är helt färdigställd för att visa hur boken ska komma att se ut. Min bildroman fungerar som en kritik och verkar för att bredda bilden av internationell adoption genom ett personligt perspektiv. Den handlar om erfarenheten av att vara internationellt, transrasialt adopterad och hur det är att växa upp som asiat i en vit familj i norra Sverige. Temat handlar om klass, ras, smak och mellanförskap.
