Som sjuksköterska kommer man ofta i kontakt med nålar och olikablodprovtagningar. Dessa provtagningar är inte helt riskfria. Ino m vården finnsdet patienter med olika blodsmittor en sjuksköterska kan bli exponerad för. Idenna litteraturstudie tas upp hepatit B, hepatit C och HIV. Syftet med dennalitteraturstudie var att ta reda på vilka reaktioner som finns rapporterade isamband med blodsmittorisk och om vårdpersonal fortfarande har låg kunskap omblodsmittor. Litteraturen som har analyserats har bestått av tio vetenskapligaartiklar. Resultaten visar att kunskapen om de olika smittvägarna fortfarande ärlåg, att många stickskador inte blir rapporterade på grund av dålig kunskap om hurrapportering ska ske och att många inom vårdpersonalen har fördomar motpatienter med blodsmitta. / As a nurse you will often get in contact with needles and different blood testprocedures. These procedures aren’t completely without risk. In the care unit thereare patients with different kinds of blood diseases, which a nurse can be exposedto. In this literature review blood disease are known as hepatitis B, hepatitis C andHIV. The purpose of this literature revie w was to find out what reactions that arereported in connection with risk of blood contagion and if nursing staff still has alow level of knowledge about blood disease. Ten scientific articles was analysedand the result showed that the knowledge about the different ways to be infectedby a blood disease still is low, that many needle stick injuries doesn’t get reporteddue to low level of knowledge about how to report and that many of the nursingstaff has prejudice against patients with blood disease.
