År 2006 kom en ny lag om förbud mot diskriminering och annan kränkande behandling av elever på grund av bland annat sexuell läggning. Denna uppsats vill se om denna lag har fått något genomslag i historieläroböckerna. Här har därför fyra nya gymnasieläroböcker i historia undersökts utifrån ett queerteoretiskt förhållningssätt och sedan jämförts med en läroboksgranskning som skolverket gjorde 2006. Resultatet blev att alla de undersökta läroböckerna någon gång problematiserar heteronormativiteten och kan på så sätt ses som att de når upp till skolans värdegrund något bättre än vad de läroböcker som undersöktes i skolverkets läroboksgranskning bedömdes göra, även om resultaten i övrigt ändå var ganska likartade. Inget i de undersökta läroböckerna kunde heller uttryckligen ses som kränkande på grund av sexuell läggning, även om den heteronormativitet som ibland förutsätts och vissa texttolkningar skulle kunna tyda på detta. / In the year 2006 a new law against discrimination and other offensive manipulation of students due to for example their sexual orientation was founded. This essay wants to examine if this law has had an effect on history textbooks. Four new history textbooks for the upper secondary school have therefore been analyzed from a queer theory point of view and then compared to a textbook study done by the Swedish National Agency for Education in 2006. The result was that all the analyzed textbooks at some point problemize the hetero norm and they can therefore be seen as attaining the values of the school somewhat better than what the textbooks in the study from 2006 was considered doing. As for the rest, the results were quite similar. Nothing in the analyzed textbooks could expressively be seen as discrimination due to sexual orientation, even though the hetero norm that sometimes is foreseen and some interpretations of texts may indicate this.
