Begreppet funkofobi är ett nytt fenomen i det svenska språket som är ett samlingsbegrepp för diskriminering och fördomar individer med funktionsnedsättning lever med. Syftet med den här studien är att belysa begreppet funkofobi utifrån hälso- och sjukvård. För att kunna besvara studiens syfte utformades tre frågor. Metoden för studien är en scoping studie för att kunna kartlägga tidigare forskning och besvara frågeställningarna. Resultatet för den här studien visar att funkofobi uttrycks inom fem områden inom hälso- och sjukvården. Dessa är: medvetenhet, utbildning och kunskap, fördomar och attityder, stigmatisering av funktionsnedsättningar och sämre tillgång till hälso- och sjukvård. / The term funkophobia is a new phenomenon in the Swedish language which is a collective term for discrimination and prejudices individuals with disabilities live with. The purpose of this study is to shed light on the concept of funkophobia from the perspective of healthcare. To be able to answer the purpose of the study design three questions. The method of study is a scoping study to be able to map previous research and answer the questions. The results of this study show that funkophobia is expressed in five areas of health care. These are: awareness, education and knowledge, prejudices and attitudes, stigmatization of disabilities and poorer access to health care.
