[pt] O Cinema é um organismo vivo que está entre os homens e as coisas e alguns de seus movimentos são de procura de um sentido para aquilo que nos acontece no intervalo entre e chegada e a partida; a busca da felicidade, o reencontro com o outro e o mundo. O trabalho procura as linhas comuns e às que diferem às comédias americanas dos anos 30 e 40, estudadas Stanley Cavell, às comedias brasileiras no final dos 50 e aos dois Pequenos Dicionários Amorosos, filmes de 1997 e 2016. Há em comum entre eles o impulso de seus personagens de tornarem-se melhores, de reconhecer a existência do outro e superar o ceticismo que nos paralisa e confina à impossibilidade do conhecimento. Ao reconhecer e aceitar os limites da existência e do conhecimento a Comédia não nos lança no ceticismo, nem nos faz rir da vida, o que seria cinismo, mas, sim, nos ensina a rir na vida e nos liberta. / [en] The film is a living organism that is among the men and things, and some of his movements are seeking a sense for what happens in the range between our arrival and departure; the pursuit of happiness, the reunion with the other and the world. The work seeks the common lines and that differ at American comedies of the years 30 and 40, studied by Stanley Cavell, the Brazilian comedies at the end of 50 and two films Little Loving Dictionaries, produced on 1997 and 2016. There is in common between them the impulse of his characters to become better, to recognize the existence of each other and overcome the skepticism that paralyzes us and confines the impossibility of knowledge. To recognize and accept the limits of existence and knowledge the comedy do not launches us in skepticism, or makes us laugh in life, it would be cynical, but teaches us to laugh in life and sets us free.
