[pt] Leitura com médicos: a educação da sensibilidade pela estética constitui-se na teorização de uma prática original, tanto para o Curso de Letras quanto para o de Medicina, aplicada no curso médico da Universidade Federal de Roraima-UFRR, no período de 2001 a 2003. O projeto apresenta as possibilidades
de um diálogo transdisciplinar entre a Literatura, a Medicina e a Arte, com um olhar especial para as artes plásticas, imprimindo-lhe uma nova dimensão: o aprendizado a partir das re-apresentações da doença e do sofrimento, considerando que a Arte e a Literatura são porta-vozes das emoções humanas, sejam elas mórbidas ou de esperança, em conexão profunda com as manifestações patológicas. O projeto fundamenta-se na leitura e interpretação de um acervo cultural que pode ser associado à prática médica, buscando através da arte e do estético apurar a percepção dos acadêmicos sobre a relação entre ciência, arte e humanidades, estimulando a reflexão a respeito do papel do médico num contexto bio-psico-sócio-ambiental. É um estudo que atravessa fronteiras disciplinares para mostrar quão híbrido é o conhecimento no universo da doença. A teoria de Edgar Morin oferece justificativa sólida para estas aproximações ao apontar para a existência dual: homo sapiens - homo demens, e procura rememorar as características do demens para relacioná-las às manifestações intersubjetivas do sujeito-doente-médico, que representa o aspecto sapiens. / [en] Reading with physicians: the education of sensibility through aesthetics. This work is the theoretical base of an original practice for the literature course and the medical course developed in the period of 2001 to 2003 at the Roraima Federal University. The project presents the possibilities of a transdisciplinarily
dialogue among Literature, Medicine and Arts with a special regard to the fine arts, adding a new dimension: the learning based on the review of disease and suffering by the Arts and the Literature,
since these are speakers for the human emotions, morbid or hopeful, with a deep connection with the
pathologic manifestations and the human condition universe. The Project fundament is the reading and interpretation of artistic and literary text collection that could be related the medical practice searching
through the arts and aesthetics to increase the academics perception about the sciences, humanities and arts relationship, stimulating the reflection on the physician s role in the bio-psicosocial-environmental context. This study surpasses the disciplinary boundaries, to show how hybrid is the knowledge of the disease universe.
