The theoretical development is based on the Social Theory of Marx, especially in its consideration of Work and Culture who helped in the analysis of the phenomena of (i)migration in the context of Bolivia and Brazil. We investigated the process of labor exploitation and class domination that characterize the daily lives of Bolivian immigrants in sewing workshop in São Paulo, in Guarulhos and neighboring municipalities. The aim is also to present the human rights violations in this context and contribute to Social Services intervention in uncompromising defense of these rights and principles of professional ethics / O presente trabalho procurou conhecer as determinações do movimento migratório dos imigrantes bolivianos do município de São Paulo para Guarulhos. O desenvolvimento teórico está fundamentado na Teoria Social de Marx, especialmente nas suas considerações sobre Trabalho e Cultura que forneceram subsídios para análise dos fenômenos da (i)migração, no contexto da Bolívia e do Brasil. Investigou-se o processo de exploração do trabalho e de dominação de classe que marcam a vida cotidiana dos imigrantes bolivianos nas oficinas de costura em São Paulo, em Guarulhos e em municípios vizinhos. O objetivo é, também, apresentar as violações de Direitos Humanos nesse contexto de trabalho e contribuir para a intervenção do Serviço Social na defesa intransigente desses direitos e dos princípios da ética profissional
