Abstract Such key elements as the suggestion system organization culture , question formed inside the organization improve consciousness , incentive system, except basic conditions needed to possess while building and constructing the administrative system of knowledge of enterprises on the practice; Can also be regarded as and implemented staff's originality management and basic tactics of organizational innovation. And organize no matter promote information management , suggestion system or organizational innovation, can is it must reach like improve sufficient ' whole participation ' of terms , motion of activity to work smoothly; So, the key factor of influencing the activity that it is organized that ' staff participate in ' is important must be probed into. The centre of market survey of enterprise management of Harvard did the investigation to the vast professional manager, the suggestion system ranks the fourth place while managing tools in ten major crazes. December of the 87th year of the Republic of China, the suggestion system that motion association and centre halfback's centre of development carry on pursues the state result to show, 72.10% of the enterprises channel into this system at home, however, the investigation result shows, the company above 80% of domestic participating in rate of system staff of enterprise's motion (the number of people / staff's number of the motion ) is but only 12.30%, there are 77.10% of the companies that think it is that the system pursue the greatest problem on that " the staff participate in the will " in enterprises pursueing the suggestion system at home. In addition, probe into our country the large thesis for the Doctorate of the suggestion system according to the researcher, find that studies and overweights more suggestion system and knowledge to create and organize in study at home, probe into the suggestion system and there is very few and black research which the staff join. In addition, the suggestion system , knowledge create , information management and organizing study to all belong to the activity of the whole company, the staff's participation is very important; And can be implementing the basic tactics had in information management , intention management or organizational innovation in order to organize in suggestion system; So, this research purpose is two: First. Probe into understanding with interview which the factor of the suggestion system are to influence the staff to participate in organizing through documents? Then gather together the structure chart exactly setting up this research. Second. With the analytic approach of the level (analytic hierarchy process, AHP) as research approach, set up not influencing not organizing staff of suggestion system not to be participated in weight of factor of ways on through being systemic than, offer the reference that the industry or the organization promote the suggestion system . On the research approach , put in order and probe into literary composition surface and factor suitable for this research theme through documents first in this research, set up AHP and study the structure according to this, and then and then study the structure through AHP that expert's interview , enterprise view and emulate and participate in the motion system practice education and training among the workshops to revise and establish this research, then set up expert's questionnaire in accordance with AHP law, coaching advisor and lecturer and enterprise suggestion system pusher correlated with the system of the motion carry on questionnaire investigation, and then set up comparative matrix in pairs in accordance with AHP law after the questionnaire is retrieved , and use AHP ' Expert Choice 2000 ' to make policy and support the application software, screen the effective questionnaire, calculate a advisor group and assay its consistency with one group of weights of every level of AHP expert's questionnaire feedbacked of industry. Research shows: 1. Advisor groups of expert organize staff, suggestion system, participate in important the first five factors and weight views in order influencing Whether. Support and attitude of the high-order executive ( 19.7 % ) , examination system design ( 11.5 % ) , education and training (10.2), support of corporate culture (8.0% ) , Support and attitude of the department manager (7.1% ) . 2. Enterprise groups of expert organize staff, suggestion system, participate in important the first five factors and weight views in order influencing Whether. Support and attitude of the high-order executive ( 26.0 %), support of corporate culture ( 8.2 % ) , suggestion system rewards to design ( 8.1 % ) , Company performance system design ( 7.4 % ) and support and attitude that are in charge of in the department (7.4). 3. A Study of Screening Mechanism of Steel Mill Equipment Supplier -A Case of Rolling Mill of China Steel Corporation

Lee, Kao-Yuan 03 August 2011 (has links)
Abstract Modernized steel plant belongs to high technique and capital-intensive industry. However, the independent ability of domestic industry in supplying steel plant equipment is so limited. Hence, almost all the equipment of steel plant are provided by foreign supplier. How to assure the big investment of project could be successful eventually, the selection of qualified equipment supplier becomes critical. The evaluation of equipment supplier is so difficult due to too many factors to be considered. Today, the evaluation by personal subjective thinking can¡¦t be applied to the assessment of both technique and non-quantifiable factors. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a wide, comprehensive and practical approach for the evaluation of equipment supplier. This research adopt AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) to construct multiattribute decision-making mode. Then, by using the decision-making process to evaluate the equipment supplier. So that such a decision-making behavior is more objective and integrity, and the sequence of priority of equipment supplier can be referred by decision making level. This decision making model is to be applied to the actual case-China Steel Corporation NGO (Non-Grain Oriented) electric steel project which is currently proceeded on. This research will evaluate and distinguish the priority of potential equipment supplier. The top three will be selected for final run of the bidding. Trust the above-mentioned method for selection of equipment supplier is quite in order. It not only helps to reduce the risk but it also increases both efficiencies and quality of decision making. Through study, we acknowledged that equipment technology management is the most important item. Per priority and weight in whole evaluation factors, the top five are selected. Finally, the top three equipment suppliers in NGO project are selected as well.

Container terminal plays an important role to serve container vessel¡¦s loading and discharging in seaport. Owing to high sunk cost and resource limited in operating ( e.g. rental, quay and yard cranes, berth window, yard and so on ), container terminals are mostly run by government or conglomerate of joint carriers . Practically, there are many container terminal operation types in the world. Among them, Kaohsiung Harbor Authority ( KHB ) leases out all terminals to several vessel carriers and the terminal lessee serves hers own vessels. In such operation type, Kaohsiung port terminal industries are faced with resource limited and berth window shortage problems. Above all, under the prevailing of global alliance tendency and ports serious competition, the terminal lessees will have the pressures of lack in resource sharing advantage and cost increasing. In such situation, the terminal performance and efficiency will be deteriorated in the long run. Thus, how to seek a better way, even changing the operation type, to enhance Kaohsiung port competitive ability is an imminent problem. Therefore, in order to maintain the Kaohsiung port¡¦s competitive advantage in international seaports, this thesis aims to discuss and evaluate the possibility of joint-venture type in Kaohsiung container terminal. We take Los Angeles¡¦s joint-venture case, which is a success cooperation, as an emulating example. And we act the expert investigation by AHP analysis to process this study. Finally, we expect this conclusion and suggestions can provide an opportunity to relating organizations for further study enabling them to come up with a suitable operation type in Kaohsiung harbor.

The study for strategies of BOT development in Taiwan-Kaohsiung MRT Project

Chang, Chung-Yung 06 August 2003 (has links)
As a distinctive type of investment, BOT indicates distinct attraction in many aspects. The government adopts BOT¡]Build-Operate-Transfer¡^format to reprieve financial stress, to attract folk enterprise to join grand-scale public construction projects, to infuse the operation of the government department with the spirit of enterprise, to expect efficient build and operation of grand-scale public construction projects, to make bigger economic efficiency and profit for the country. There are some characteristics for BOT, inclusive of long-term build eviction, unreversibility of investment, huge amount of investment, uncontrollable risks on scheme, build and operation, and the privilege for the enterprise. In theory, BOT format can reduce the financial stress and human-resource expense of the public department, raise the economic efficiency on management and disperse the investment risks of the government. Complete experiences are lacking from the operation of development project, bank financing to risk assessment and management because of the enforcement of public construction projects through the BOT format in Taiwan is still in the beginning. This thesis mainly examined Kaohsiung MRT Project, and analyzed foreign successful or discussible cases to explore why the enforcement of BOT format in Taiwan was difficulty, and severely criticized. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the various issues of BOT format by interviewing with the industrial advanced, official advanced and scholar to examine the BOT spirits is implemented or twisted, and hope the government¡¦s development project in the further can be practically benefited by this research. A multi-criteria selection of water treatment solutions for rural African villages : a case study of Makwane Village

Bumba, Tresor Mosigo January 2016 (has links)
The availability of water can be considered as one of the key ingredients to the human life, yet this resource remains scarcely available to those living in the rural parts of Africa. When water does present itself, it is often impure and requires extensive treatment. Water treatment systems, particularly those capable of treating water in rural areas, are currently areas of research and entrepreneurship focus, making a number of potential solutions available, and other still coming in. Unfortunately, these systems are not always capable of performing in particular socio-cultural and economic contexts, or are often deployed in the wrong rural areas. Therefore these systems do not perform at their optimal level of design. Rural areas in Africa have different socio-cultural and economic context from each other, and this needs to be taken into account if one is going to select the right water treatment system for a particular area. Using industrial engineering tools, two water treatment system selection models; an Additive Analytic Hierarchy Process model and a Fuzzy Logic based model, are presented and then integrated. These models take into account the context of selected rural area by pitting available water purification systems against selected criteria to determine if it is the right fit for the rural area considered. Both models are then pitted against each other to determine which is more adept at selecting the appropriate water purification system. Three water treatment alternatives were considered after an analysis was conducted on the available solutions on the market. The water treatment systems under consideration were the Biosand Filter with Zeolites (BSFZ), the Silver Impregnated Porous Pot, and A Borehole system. Makwane, a rural village in Limpopo, South Africa was used as a case study to demonstrate the application of the selection models. The BSFZ was selected as the ideal water treatment system to be implemented in Makwane / Dissertation (MEng)--University of Pretoria, 2016. / Industrial and Systems Engineering / MEng / Unrestricted

Wang, Le-Jen 15 August 2007 (has links)
Abstract Recently the printing industry in Taiwan has experienced great difficulty in the business, as a result of industry relocation, drastic decrease in demand, increase in manpower cost and massive use of commercial high speed machinery, contributing to an unbalance of supply and demand, quick drop in gross profit, falling into unfavorable price cut, and immense market competition. In the era of knowledge economy and lean profit, if lacking of strategic thought, selecting a Key Performance Indicator (KPI), suitable for its own industrial strategic execution, one would bound to face great difficulty in sustaining its business. In this regard, this study targets at selection of KPI in the printing industry and attempts to use four prospective of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for exploring the implementation feasibility. In order to verify and refine the first outcomes of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis, this stuy did the second AHP analysis and adopts the second outcomes as the conclusion. They are as follows: 1. These are the priorities of the four factors on the second layer: ¡§Internal Business Process Perspective¡¨ goes first, ¡§Learning and Growth Perspective¡¨ second, ¡§Financial Perspective¡¨ third, and ¡§Customer Perspective¡¨ last . 2. The top six prioities of the 16 indicators on the third layer are the below: ¡§Short cycle time¡¨ goes first, ¡§Passing rate of skill examination¡¨ second, ¡§Value in wastage of raw material¡¨ third, ¡§Customer complaint figures¡¨ fourth, ¡§Improvement plan figures¡¨ fifth and ¡§Sales growth rate¡¨ sixth.
