Pre-election polls of selected survey agencies are compared and evaluated here. Further the theses uses an alternative approach to the distribution of seats in the Chamber of Deputies, with a focus on possible impact on the election results both in terms of the different distribution of seats, and in terms of the subsequent formation of possible coalitions. Aspekty sněmovní aktivity poslanců Parlamentu České republiky / Legislative Behaviour of Deputies in the Czech RepublicHájek, Lukáš January 2020 (has links)
Scrutiny of legislative behaviour of members of parliament (MPs) has a long tradition in Western Europe. Nonetheless, there has been a research gap in the Czech Republic. Thus, the dissertation thesis identifies the most burning and exciting questions and delivers the answers as a collection of to some extent separated but still interconnected studies. To be more specific, I employ quantitative methods of analysis. I deal with the data on all the members of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic who held the mandate between 1993 and 2017. Overall, the original and unique dataset consists of 1,518 legislators and their comprehensive parliamentary activity. The results suggest that two main conflicts drive parliamentary politics - the institutional division between ruling parties and opposition, and the ideological left-right socio-economic dimension. Besides this, the thesis shows that both the age and tenure of the MPs noticeably affect their parliamentary activity. While older and more experienced MPs propose more bills, address more speeches and obtain more intra- parliamentary posts than young novices, the latter group focuses on the work outside of the parliament. Next, the gender differences in the parliamentary activity of Czech legislators resemble patterns from...

período entre 2007 e 2011. A proposta deste trabalho é investigar a trajetória, o

O termo
evangélico utilizado nesta dissertação recobre todas as denominações pentecostais, neopentecostais e protestantes históricas identificadas no Brasil no período investigado.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the formation and the development of the electoral system to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, with a focus on the impact of the decisions of the Constitutional Court on the current variables of an electoral system. The first part (the theoretical one) offers an explanation of the main terms used in the area of electoral systems. It especially deals with a classification of electoral systems by presenting the two main families of the electoral systems. Furthermore, an explanation of the basic terms used in the area of electoral systems is provided. The two main formulas for a seat allocation to parties are explained. The second part of the thesis is broader. It concentrates on the electoral system used in the Czech Republic for elections to the Chamber of Deputies. First of all, it pays attention to the formation of a constitutional provision concerning the electoral system. After that, it examines the electoral law relating to elections to the Czech Parliament, taking into account amendments of this piece of legislation. Analýza volební kampaně ve volbách do PS PČR v roce 2017: případová studie Pirátská strana / Analysis of the electoral campaign in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic in 2017: a case study of the Pirates'partyŠigut, David January 2018 (has links)
The main goal of this master thesis is to analyse the election campaign of the Czech Pirate Party in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. Even though the Pirate Party have participated in several elections since 2009, the election in 2017 brought the greatest electoral success. Nowadays, the external experts from various fields participate in the pre-election campaigns of the parties. Such cooperation usually lasts only during the pre-election campaign and it ends after the elections. These experts create campaign strategies and plans, train party leaders in communication, provide brand analyses, etc. The primary objective of this thesis is to analyse how the campaign of the Czech Pirate Party was conducted in 2017, whether they collaborated with external experts and what elements they had in their campaign.

Sklon volebního systému ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky / The electoral bias in the electoral system to the Chamber of deputies of the Parliament of the Czech RepublicBlaha, Aleš January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis opens a new deep insight into the issue of electoral systems in Czech and Central European political science. The mid-point of this research is the electoral bias in the electoral system to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The electoral bias is researched on all general elections from 1996 until 2013. To find out the electoral bias I apply mathematical method created and used by professor Galina Borisyuk from University of Plymouth. This method is based on several mathematical methods used by the American and the British political scientists for decades. However, the new method created by Galina Borisyuk is the most convenient for many reasons. Mainly this method isn't necessarily connected with plurality majority system, which was essential variable so far. Second key attribute of this method is the possibility to apply it on the three party systems, which is important variable for our political system in the Czech Republic as well. In analytical part of this research I apply the new mathematical method in all elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Ascertained results are analysed in the conclusion together that I have set the feasible ways to develop a new path the research of bias in the future.

Volební systém do poslanecké sněmovny v ČR: geneze, vývoj a jeho další směřování / The electroral system for the Chamber of Deputies of Czech Republic: genesis, evolution and its future directionPeškar, Michal January 2012 (has links)
This final thesis deals with electoral system to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Its genesis, evolution and future are presented in 3 chapters and in the Conclusion. Work is designed as a case-study and it employs two methods - from general to particular, and from earlier to later. These methods are used in whole work as well as in particular chapters and subchapters. The first chapter introduces readers to the issue of electoral system in general. There are described two main voting systems - proportional and majority vote. Stress is put to the proportional system which has used for elections to the Chamber of Deputies. Also the question "which electoral system is the best" is mentioned. Following chapter surveys history of the electoral system and evolution from its establishment to the present. Main part of this chapter deals with a reform introduced in the year 2000 which was declared by the Constitutional Court as unconstitutional. New law, instead of blank spaces after the decision of the Constitutional Court, was adopted in the year 2002 and since that it has been valid till the present. The third chapter presents proposals of electoral reform from the year 2008 prepared by a group of experts on the basis of political assignment of contemporary Government....
