Background: This thesis deals with the issue of healthy lifestyle in the area of the Czech education system, especially from the point of view of anchoring the educational subject "Health Education " within the educational program. The research part was realized through a questionnaire survey at four selected Prague primary schools and four eight-year grammar schools. The research group was consisted of 140 elementary school pupils and 136 pupils of eight-year grammar schools. After the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, a structured interview with one teacher on each of the schools was conducted and this information mapped their opinions to the subject of Health Education. Objectives: The aim of the work was to map pupils' awareness of the areas from the subject "Health Education ", and where the pupils gained this knowledge. Then compare the acquired information within two types of schools (elementary schools and eight-year grammar schools). The work also compares the obtained information with the opinions of the teachers who teach the subject at selected schools. Title: The evaluation of primary prevention program Boys and Girls Plus Author: Bc. Anna Frombergerová Department: Psychology Supervisor: PhDr. Veronika Pavlas Martanová, Ph.D. Abstract: The thesis evaluates the Boys and Girls Plus primary drug prevention programme that was carried out at elementary and secondary schools throughout the Czech Republic. The programme ran concurrently in eight European countries. The thesis processes, evaluates, and interprets the data collected by the project organizers for the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the Boys and Girls Plus project, its progress, and implementation. It also addresses the various approaches to the evaluation of primary prevention programmes and examines their effectiveness in practice. The empirical part of the thesis evaluates the data collected from the project participants (over 600 pupils/students and 27 teachers). Students filled in attitude questionnaires both before and after the intervention and they also commented directly on the Boys and Girls Plus programme itself. This studie thesis deals with the realization of the educational subject of Health education at chosen elementary school. The aim is to determine attitudes of pupils at chosen elementary school to the educational subject Health Education and to find out how the health education was reflected in a life of pupils at the chosen elementary school and how it influenced their views and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts, such as health, healthy lifestyles, health literacy. It describes in details within the RVP educational field Man and health. The practical part looks into the attitudes of students at chosen elementary school to the educational subject Health Education and their opinions and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. Two questionnaires that are intended for children at elementary school will be made in this part. They are primarily oriented on the attitudes to the educational subject Health Education and attitudes to a healthy lifestyle. Vplyv aktuálnych trendov v stravovaní na chovanie spotrebiteľov v Českej republike v marketingu / The impact of recent trends in dieting on consumer behaviour in Czech republic in marketing

This diploma thesis analyses the impact of alternative trends in dieting on consumer behaviour in Czech Republic. Alternative diets and healthy lifestyle are nowadays very popular topics and a lot of consumers are changing their preferences towards alternative types of dining. These changes are affecting producers which need to adapt their supply to market needs which is also affecting their marketing orientation towards these consumers. The aim of this thesis is to review actual trends in dieting and to show their impact on consumer behaviour. The aim of the thesis is also to suggest marketing recommendations which are connected with new trends and evaluate financial burden of particular trends on consumers. The thesis is focused on detailed description of actual trends in dieting, health impacts connected with the new trends and their actual occurrence in Czech Republic. Analysis is based on qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews and quantitative research in the form of questionnaire. The MML-TGI data and actual research papers are also used in the thesis. Based on the semi-structured interview and method of open coding are uncovered important categories which are affecting particular consumers. Subsequently based on the multi-regression analysis is estimated the impact of particular trends in dieting on healthy lifestyle of consumers. The results show that actual trends have significant impact on orientation of consumers towards healthy lifestyle. Based on the multi-regression analysis also other factors affecting consumers in a way to live healthier are discovered. From the results can be seen that the alternative trends do not need to be automatically connected with higher financial burden. According to the research results are suggested complex marketing recommendations. Marketing recommendations are focused on effective promotion of products, potential business opportunities and recommendations how to approach the consumers.

The master's thesis 'Lifestyle of students of University of Economics in Prague' focuses on the concept of healthy lifestyle, its definition and sub-areas, such as health in general, nutrition, work-life balance and time management. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the lifestyle of students of the University of Economics in Prague, namely in the areas of living, eating and physical habits, work-life balance and time management. The online questionnaire survey carried out a quantitative research, which was attended by 612 VŠE students. Based on the theoretical part, four hypotheses had been established at the beginning of the application section, which were either confirmed or refuted based on the results of the questionnaire survey.

There is an emphasis on the impact of movement on human health in further developmental stages. The third chapter deals with the possibilities of preschool children with their parents and educators. The fourth chapter describes the maintenance of health and fitness as important components for the effective functioning of the body. The fifth chapter deals with the impact of information and communication technologies on the movement activity of a preschool child with an emphasis on the issue of game consoles. The empirical part describes quantitative research that maps the current state of movement activity in pre-school children.

Healthy and active lifestyle is one of the biggest phenomena in today´s society. People want more than ever to look good, have a perfect figure, feel fit, take care of themselves a lot and try to eat a healthier way. They search for a variety of ways to exercise, lose weight and sculpt the figure. At the same time, they are daily overloaded with plenty of information and advertisements from this area, primarily from large fitness and sports centers that have advertising sufficient funds. However, smaller companies also have a chance to reach their potential customers and get them to buy if they choose a suitable form of marketing communication and differentiate sufficiently from their competitors. The aim of this thesis is to critically evaluate the current marketing communication of the Ladies Body Toning Studio MODELACE and then make recommendations for its improvement. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the meaning of marketing, as well as on communication process, marketing communication tools, trends in this area and marketing research. The practical part is dedicated to the Ladies Body Toning Studio MODELACE and its marketing communication. It is based on my own online questionnaire survey.

This thesis is devoted to the lifestyle of the Czech population. The empirical research aims identify key characteristics of lifestyle of the Czech population, show the range of approaches to health, find out in what ways the Czech population cares about health, study to what extent Czechs respect the principles of a healthy lifestyle and investigate how well informed Czechs are about health. The theoretical part of this study consists of analyzing specialized literature in order to provide a comprehensive definition. Then using a number of previous studies it maps the risk behavior of the Czech population in relation to non-communicable diseases that can be caused by unhealthy lifestyle. The empirical part of the thesis provides tentative answers to the questions mentioned above. That is done by analyzing survey data complemented by an analysis of data provided by Marketing & Media & Lifestyle. The analyses concern both the entire Czech population and subsequently three selected sub-groups of respondents: (1) those who consider their lifestyle as healthy, (2) those who do not, and (3) a category of young people.

The thesis deals with the healthy lifestyle of Czech university students. The main objectives are to map the healthy lifestyle of Czech university students, especially to find out whether they follow the principles of healthy lifestyle, to find out their knowledge concerning this issue, to find out if there are any obstacles to follow the healthy lifestyle and to find out whether they know any projects supporting health and healthy lifestyle. In the theoretical part of the thesis the basic terms are defined. There is also introduced the system of public health in the Czech Republic, occurrence of non-communicable diseases caused by unhealthy lifestyle and risk factors causing these diseases. Practical part maps the healthy lifestyle of Czech university students and fulfills stated objectives by using questionnaire survey and data mining.
