Automatizované měření teploty v boji proti COVID / Automated measurements of body temperature against COVID-19

Roman, Matej January 2021 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the development of an open source software capable of automatic face detection in an image captured by a thermal camera, followed by a temperature measuring. This software is supposed to aid in the COVID-19 pandemics. The developed software is independent of used thermal camera. In this thesis, I am using TIM400 thermal camera. The implementation of the face detection was achieved by an OpenCV module. The methods tested were Template Matching, Eigen Faces, and Cascade Classifier. The last-mentioned had the best results, hence was used in the final version of the software. Cascade Classifier is looking for the eyes and their surrounding area in the image, allowing the software to subsequently measure the temperature on the surface of one's forehead. One can therefore be wearing a face mask or a respirator safely. The temperature measuring works in real time and the software is able to capture several people at once. It then keeps a record of the temperature of each measured individual as well as the time of the measurement. The software as a whole is a part of an installation file compatible with the Windows operating system. The functionality of this software was tested – the video recordings are included in this thesis.

Přesnost bezdotykového měření teploty / Accuracy of non-contacting Temperature Measurement

Horák, Ladislav January 2011 (has links)
This master’s thesis is specialized on the influence of correct parameters of emissivity, which depends on the temperature, wavelength and ambient environment. The investigation the parameter was taken infrared non-contact thermometer MI3 from company Raytek. To improve the quality of measurement was designed and programmed measuring utility program. The program was developed in the LabView 8.5 programming environment. To obtain the true value of the measured temperature of the target was designed and constructed the touch thermometer with the resistance dependent sensor. The thermometer is connected to the communication box of infrared thermometer and contain the same program. Nowadays are the most advanced IR thermometer with fixed parameters emissivity, which is applicable just to the real body in the vicinity of the parameter emissivity 0,95. For those IR thermometers were designed correction function, which would have temperature measured at a fixed emissivity parameter 0,95 set close to the actual value of the object.

Etude de la convection naturelle turbulente en cavité verticale différentiellement chauffée : Analyse des structures et des transferts turbulents / Study of the Turbulent Natural Convection in a Differential Heated Cavity : Analysis of the Turbulent structures and Transfers

Belleoud, Pierre 05 July 2016 (has links)
Natural convection flows in confined spaces are often turbulent (large dimensions and/or temperature difference ). Improving the knowledge of this type of regime and of the associated heat and mass transfers seems, therefore, to be essential. This experirnental work studies heat transfer mechanisms using coupled and synchronized measurernents of temperature and velocity in a turbulent natural convection flow at high Rayleigh number (Ra1-1=I.2 x1011) in a differentially heated cavity with a vertical aspect ratio (height/width) of 4. Velocity measurernents are acquired by PIV and temperature is measured with K-type micro-thermocouple (0=12.7 μm). Both measurementsystems are synchronized using a BNC® pulse generator. Thermal boundary conditions of the adiabatic walls and post treatment of PIV data using an orthogonal decomposition based on the kinetic energy of the flow - POD - have been considered with caution. It makes possible, on the one hand, the experimental assessment of turbulent quantities like enthalpy fluxes and dimensionless nurnber (Prandtl, diffusivity ... ) and, on the other hand the estimation of the contribution of the other terms of Navier-Stokes equations (pressure gradient and source term). Finally a discussion on characteristic scales of the flow and a comparison with numerical simulations are provided.

[en] ANALYSIS OF THE DEMODULATION TECHNIQUE BASED ON FIXED FILTERS IN THE INTERROGATION OF FIBER BRAGG GRATING SENSORS / [pt] ANÁLISE DA TÉCNICA DE DEMODULAÇÃO BASEADA EM FILTROS FIXOS NA INTERROGAÇÃO DE SENSORES A REDE DE BRAGG EM FIBRAS ÓPTICAS

LUIZ CARLOS DA SILVA NUNES 31 August 2004 (has links)
[en] The analysis of a demodulation system for fiber Bragg grating sensors based on two fixed spectral filters has been carried out both theoretically and experimentally. Different system configurations were analyzed by modifying the spectral position of the filters as well as the optical power-level of the signal reaching the two photo-detectors. Measurements with integration times that varied from 0.01 to 1 second have been compared with the low frequency limit predicted for long-term operation. Comparisons between simulated and experimental results show good agreement, and extrapolations indicate that it should be possible to achieve a dynamic range of the order of 7 nanometers, with uncertainties equivalent to less than 2 picometers, in measurements of the sensor peak position. Applications based on this system were carried out. An analysis of simultaneous measurement of temperature and pressure with only one FBG sensor using transducer of pressure to transfer a lateral force to the fiber, proportional to the applied pressure, generating birefringence at grating Bragg region has been realized. The proposed system allowed to measure pressure range of 400 psi with uncertain of 4 psi and simultaneously temperature range of 22 Celsius Degree with uncertain of 0.1 Celsius Degree. In addiction, generated effects in the temporal multiplexing (TDM) of fiber Bragg grating sensors when the sensor spectra are fully overlapped have been analyzed. In this study, it is compared the demodulation technique based on two fixed filters with the conventional technique based on the peak position. The results show that the technique based on fixed filters presents advantage to conventional, allowing a greatest sensor number. It was also analyzed the generated disturbance in the Bragg grating sensor spectrum when the source used to interrogate the sensor has a residual modulation which changes with the temperature. And finally, a polarized multiplexing system (TDM/WDM) able to interrogate a large number of Bragg grating sensors written in high-birefringent polarization-maintaining fibers has been realized. It is based on integrated-optic switch Mach- Zehnder interferometer in X-Y configuration and a CCD line array spectrometer.

Hiller, Sebastian 21 December 2022 (has links)
One of the key technologies here is the determination of the virtual junction temperature. Various possibilities for determining the virtual chip temperature of IGBTs and the aging of the chip-substrate interconnection are presented in the work and discussed with their advantages and disadvantages in terms of feasibility and applicability in the converter. Special consideration is given to the technical implementation of a measurement method based on a short-term load in the active area with subsequent determination of the cooling behavior. By comparing this with the original cooling behavior, it is possible to detect chip aging with the methods presented. Furthermore, a method is presented that enables the determination of the virtual chip temperature in the inverter via a determination of the Miller plateau height at the switch-off moment of the IGBT.:1 Einleitung 2 Alterung von Leistungshalbleitern 3 Stand der Technik der Chiptemperaturbestimmung in der Umrichterschaltung 4 Untersuchungen temperaturabhängiger elektrischer Bauelementparameter 5 Wichtige Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Chiptemperatur in der Umrichterschaltung 6 Untersuchung eines Verfahrens zur Bestimmung der Chiptemperatur in der Umrichterschaltung mittels Millerplateauhöhe 7 Technische Umsetzbarkeit der gezeigten Messverfahren 8 Zusammenfassung und Ausblick A Anhang
