Ochrana citlivých informací na mobilních zařízení / Privacy Protection on Mobile Devives

Aron, Lukáš Unknown Date (has links)

Ovládání počítače prostřednictvím mobilního telefonu / Handset based computer control

Kovář, Jan January 2009 (has links)
The master's thesis is focused on Java based solution of remote PC control using a mobile phone. Application is made up of client and server, which are communicating via Bluetooth interface. The client represents a mobile application (MIDlet) and commands sent to the server. Server, run on a computer (with any operating system), read these orders and evaluate their algorithms to control the PC. The issue of the draft text is divided into two units, each of them describes just one part of the application. The client describes its functionality. It is also fully examines the structure of mobile application programmed in Java ME, together with the most important methods of this code. Text dealing with the server part describes its activities as well as individual options utilization. It describes the structure of the server application which is programmed in Java SE. There are also a description of the most important methods of the Java SE code. This thesis gives the results of both components of the application that allow to remotely control the computer and especially the presentation. The application was properly debugged and tested, and form a functional multiplatform software.

Systém pro sledování únavy řidiče / Driver Fatigue Monitor

Hošek, Roman January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the options of image processing on mobile platforms, especially on Android operating system, and their use in a driver drowsiness detection system. The introductory part analyses the influence of drowsiness on drivers, focusing chiefly on the microsleep, and describes the already existing driver drowsiness detection systems. The thesis proceeds by the description of possibilities of image processing on mobile platforms with the emphasis on Android operating system together with the OpenCV library, known from the desktop interface. This is followed by comparison of various options of library implementation on a mobile platform. The chapter on image processing describes the algorithms for the detection of objects in the image, usable for detection of face, eyes and their posture. The practical part implements the selected methods for the Android operating system. A referential application was created to provide an explanatory demonstration of these methods on a real device. The individual methods are compared on the basis of time consumption, error rate and other factors.

Implementace GIS nástroje pro mobilní počítačová zařízení / GIS Application Tool for Mobile Platforms

Kalčík, Vojtěch January 2013 (has links)
This master's thesis with draft of GIS tool for mobile platforms. The resulting program will be adapted for collection of geographic data in the field. The program will work with standard file formats for GIS. High emphasis is put on the control, which is particular for mobile devices with capacitive display. The program will be designed for both smartphone and tablet. Explanation of the mapping principle and description of geographic information systems are also parts of the thesis.

Identifikace obličeje na platformě Android / Face Identification on Android Platform

Karhánek, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This work describes ways to use a person identification based on faces on mobile devices with Android platform. A reader is introduced into a structure of this system and a way to create applications for it. Besides, there are also methods usable to the face identification. Some of these methods (used in an implementation) are described in more detail. This work also contains a description of model AAM (Active Appearance Model) for implementing in mobile devices and evaluation of used algorithms results.

IS pro evidenci telefonních hovorů / IS for Phone Calls Accounting

Šitka, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This contribution refers to development of information system working with mobile communication devices. The information system is mainly for collecting and analyzing data made through the mobile devices. In the contribution there are described possibilities of connection between PC and mobile device, also there are described the most common information system for mobile devices, and tools for application development. Design and implementation of information system is based on this study.

An Optimized Alert System Based on Geospatial Location Data

Zeitz, Kimberly Ann 01 July 2014 (has links)
Crises are spontaneous and highly variable events that lead to life threatening and urgent situations. As such, crisis and emergency notification systems need to be both flexible and highly optimized to quickly communicate to users. Implementing the fastest methods, however, is only half of the battle. The use of geospatial location is missing from alert systems utilized at university campuses across the United States. Our research included the design and implementation of a mobile application addition to our campus notification system. This addition is complete with optimizations including an increase in the speed of delivery, message differentiation to enhance message relevance to the user, and usability studies to enhance user trust and understanding. Another advantage is that our application performs all location data computations on the user device with no external storage to protect user location privacy. However, ensuring the adoption of a mobile application that requests location data permissions and relating privacy measures to users is not a trivial matter. We conducted a campus-wide survey and interviews to understand mobile device usage patterns and obtain opinions of a representative portion of the campus population. These findings guided the development of this mobile application and can provide valuable insights which may be helpful for future application releases. Our addition of a mobile application with geospatial location awareness will send users relevant alerts at speeds faster than those of the current campus notification system while still guarding user location privacy, increasing message relevance, and enhancing the probability of adoption and use. / Master of Science

Wireless Application Development

Mujib, Rahat M. 01 January 2004 (has links)
Wireless Application Development has become a major area of research in recent times. With the increasing availability of wireless technologies such as cellular, Bluetooth, Infrared etc. it has become essential to develop applications that suit the various types of hardware that support such wireless technologies. The goal of this thesis is to explore the motivations behind application development methodologies and the tools associated with it, for small mobile devices that employ cellular technologies. Due to extremely high demand of cell phones among people who have over the years become extra mobile, there has been a trend of decreasing costs for users for the last several years. As more people start using these devices every day the demand for support of various applications and services are on the rise. This thesis will explore the leading application development tools and technologies for small mobile devices WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), J2ME (Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition) and some others. This thesis will also take a brief look into cellular network technology termed 3G, in terms of its usefulness for applications developed using the aforementioned technologies. The thesis includes the development of a J2ME application using a wireless device emulator.
