Diploma thesis from sociology of sport maps the basic socio-demographic characteristics of czech runners, with the emphasis on runners between the ages of 30 - 50, which form the most significant part of running segment. Aside from these characteristics it also deals with running habits, preferences, favourite locations for running, motivations and aspirations regarding not only new race events but also its evolving running equipments and last but not least the increase of informal running groups - light communities. The vital part is closer look on history of sociology in regards to sport in the Czech republic, and also as a part of world sociological tradition. It shows that even traditional sociological theories can be applied when some processes in society are scientifically studied. In methodological part the concept of free time is used, as well as a new look on alternative tourism - travelling for running events. As a part of second running wave the concept of light communities is examined, too. Moreover, this work shows the closer look on runners' satisfaction in life in comparison with economically active population in the Czech rep (Nov 2018, CVMM). Is the film suitable educational tool for teaching about holocaust? That is the main question and topic of the thesis. At first it im looking into general issues of holocaust in education. I'm trying to show that holocaust is not perceived only as a historical event, but as a specific demonstration of modern society in a first place. Focusing only on its historical attributes results in ignoring ethical and societal dimensions of this topic. For that i'm also suggesting that we should be teaching about holocaust not only in history, but also in civics. Further in this paper im trying to examine using film as the educational tool. I'm working here with the proposition that the film is not representing reality, but it's always just a reflexion of the reality. And as such it needs to work with the memory. Memory is constructing frames of our thinking and understanding of the world around. While using film in education, we need to keep in mind that film is a product of certain cultural memory and memory frames. This product is then retroactively helping to reinforce those memory frames which it came from. I also did some research on legislative aspects of using film in education. Krize přirozeného světa The crisis of the Life-world PhDr. Klára Holá This doctoral thesis called The crisis of the Life-world is an interdisciplinary theoretical treatise on a problem of the crisis in connection with the Life-world, the main phenomenological issue. The crisis is related to the Life-world itself. The thesis tries to explain the problem of the crisis as a timeless concept ontologically related to a human being, as well as an ethical issue accompanying the development of the modern society. The aim of the thesis is to define the crisis of the Life-world, to describe its symptoms in the various areas, and to outline some possible solutions. To achieve the aim I have divided the conception of the crisis into two meanings which are related to each other: the ontological crisis and the ethical crisis. My hypothesis has proved the ontological crisis unavoidable, as it springs from the ambivalent position of the human being whereas we can balance the ethical aspects in various ways. I have used the comparative and phenomenological method as well as the phenomenological-hermeneutic methods of the text-interpretation. FundaÃÃo Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Cientifico e TecnolÃgico / O objetivo desta dissertaÃÃo à desferir uma crÃtica radical ao trabalho abstrato-concreto enquanto princÃpio fetichista constitutivo da moderna sociedade produtora de mercadorias, a partir da teoria do valor de Karl Marx. Em primeiro lugar, perscrutar-se-à a estrutura da mercadoria enquanto unidade social concreta portadora intrinsecamente de uma dupla determinaÃÃo, isto Ã, sendo ao mesmo tempo um valor de uso e um valor. A dualidade da mercadoria se deriva da dualidade do trabalho, enquanto ao mesmo tempo abstrato e concreto. Hà uma relaÃÃo antagÃnica tanto no interior da mercadoria quanto no do trabalho, visto que, por um lado, o valor se impÃe destrutivamente sobre o valor de uso e, por outro, o trabalho abstrato se impÃe destrutivamente sobre o seu outro, a saber, o trabalho concreto. Esta relaÃÃo antagÃnica à marcada, pois, por uma lÃgica negativa, cuja tendÃncia à gerar contradiÃÃes cada vez mais insustentÃveis. O cerne dessas contradiÃÃes consiste no fato de toda a realidade social produtora de mercadorias da modernidade està fundada em uma abstraÃÃo social real: o ser-valor. Este ser à constituÃdo originariamente pelo trabalho abstrato enquanto substÃncia social. Em segundo lugar, determinar-se-à que a lÃgica negativa que perpassa a estrutura da mercadoria possui um carÃter fetichista. Este carÃter torna os objetos produzidos socialmente pelo trabalho abstrato-concreto em coisas ao mesmo tempo sensÃveis e suprassensÃveis. O cunho fetichista das mercadorias se deriva da prÃpria natureza dual do trabalho que as produz. O fetichismo da mercadoria consiste em um mecanismo social absurdo de engendrar a realidade da sociedade como se fosse dominada por coisas autÃnomas, as quais possuem poderes anÃnimos frente aos prÃprios indivÃduos que as produziram. O mecanismo de fetichizaÃÃo social da realidade se configura e se objetiva de tal forma pelo hÃbito das relaÃÃes sociais de produÃÃo que a mercadoria parece possuir a propriedade do ser-valor como sendo algo natural e nÃo socialmente constituÃdo pelo trabalho. A consolidaÃÃo fÃrrea desse mecanismo se dà porque ele à caracterizado por uma tripla dimensÃo: uma objetiva (realidade), uma subjetiva (pensamento) e uma intersubjetiva (linguagem). A unidade destas trÃs dimensÃes constitui a moderna sociedade produtora de mercadorias como uma totalidade negativa, determinada por uma matrix a priori que condiciona fetichistamente o agir, o pensar, o falar, o sentir etc. de todos os seus integrantes atravÃs de um poder impessoal. Em um terceiro momento, investigar-se-à qual o horizonte histÃrico e lÃgico no qual o trabalho abstrato-concreto està circunscrito, a saber, tÃo-somente ao moderno sistema produtor de mercadorias. Tal limitaÃÃo do horizonte histÃrico e lÃgico do trabalho serà complementada com a teoria da crise final do sistema capitalista. Essa teoria acaba por caracterizar o trabalho como uma categoria historicamente determinada e pertencente tÃo-sà ao moderno sistema produtor de mercadorias, nÃo sendo, pois, um princÃpio ontolÃgico determinador da essÃncia do homem enquanto ser social fundado no e pelo trabalho, nem um princÃpio transhistÃrico pertencente a todas as formas de sociabilidade. Por fim, concluir-se-Ã, a partir dos aspectos do conteÃdo, forma e matÃria que constituem a sociedade moderna produtora de mercadorias, com a determinaÃÃo do conceito de histÃria como histÃria das relaÃÃes fetichistas e nÃo como histÃria das lutas de classe. / The aim of this dissertation is to strike a radical critique at abstract-concrete labor as a fetishist principle that constitutes the modern commodity-producing society. All this from the point of view of Karl Marxâs theory of value. Firstly, it scrutinizes the structure of commodity as a concrete social unit that carries inherently a double determination, which means it is both a use-value and a value. The twofold nature of commodity is derived from the twofold nature of labor, while at same time abstract and concrete. There is an antagonistic relation both within the commodity and the labor, however, the value is imposed on the use-value of destructive form. On the other hand, the abstract-labor is imposed also on its destructively way, which is named the concrete-labor. This antagonism is characterized by a negative logic, which tends to generate increasing unsustainable contradictions. The core of these contradictions lies the fact that the whole commodity-producing social reality of modernity is based on a real social abstraction: the value-being. This being is originally constituted by the abstract-labor as social substance. Secondly, it determines that the negative logic which permeates the structure of commodity has a fetish-like character. This character becomes the socially produced objects by abstract-concrete labor in things at same time sensible and supersensible. The fetish-like character of commodities is derived from the twofold nature of labor that produced them. The fetishism is an absurd social mechanism that engenders the reality of society as if it was dominated by autonomous things, which have anonymous powers against individuals themselves who produced them. The social mechanism of fetishization of reality is formed by habit of social relations of production. This habit makes the commodities to appear having a property of value-being as something natural. But this property is merely socially constituted by labor. The strongly consolidation of this mechanism occurs because it is characterized by three dimensions: an objective (reality), a subjective (thoughts) and an intersubjective dimension. The unity of these three dimensions constitutes the commodity-producing modern society as a negative totality, since it is determined by a priori matrix that characterizes fetishistically to the act, speaks and fells of all its members through an impersonal power. Thirdly, it investigates the historical and logical horizon in which the abstract-concrete labor is limited: merely the commodity-producing modern system. This limitation will be complemented with the Marxâs theory of final crisis of capitalism. This theory turns out to characterize the labor as a historically determined category and so it belongs only to commodity-producing modern system. It is not therefore an ontological principle that determines the manâs essence as a social being founded by and through labor, nor a transhistorical principle belonging to all forms of sociability. Finally, it concludes according to contend, form and matter of the commodity-producing modern society that history is the history of fetishists relations and not the history of class struggles.

This thesis will introduce the Viennese Modernism from the background of social and aesthetic changes at the turn of the 20th century. First will be outlined the social situation around 1900 and a position of bourgeois class in this society, because this class is where the culture of Viennese Modernism came from. From this social status as well as numerous scandals of modern art in this conservative society will be explained the organization of the cultural life of the young generation of artists. Furthermore there will also be introduced the Modernism in painting, architecture and music by their major artists. Similarly, in literature will be presented Hermann Bahr as an organizer of the literary group Young Vienna and his biggest opponent Karl Kraus, the satirist of his time. Thematically, the work of the authors of Young Vienna is divided into three areas, namely into the image of the society, which is mainly reflected in the work of Arthur Schnitzler and Peter Altenberg, aestheticism, which is also the subject of the most important works by Leopold Andrian, Richard Beer-Hofmann and the early dramas of Hugo von Hofmannsthal. The last theme is Chandos-Brief, written by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, which is a document of the language crisis in this time.

Text in German / Am Beginn der Menschheit steht das von Gott erschaffene Paar, in der Postmo derne ist es das aufgeklarte, autonome Individuum. Eine Diskrepanz zwischen ursprunglicher Schopfungsintention und der postmodernen Lebenswelt wird deutlich. Denn Mann und Frau wurden auf eine ganzheitliche Lebensgemein schaft hin erschaffen, die nicht nur den trinitarischen Gott widerspiegeln soli, sondem fur einen gelingenden Lebensvollzug urn die konstitutive Notwendigkeit der Gebundenheit des GeschOpfes an seinen Schopfer weiss. Das Bewusst sein, dass der Mensch nur in dieser existentiellen Verankerung zum wahren Mann- oder Frausein befahigt wird, ist in der aufgeklarten Postmoderne, primar durch deren zentrales Merkmal, der Absolutsetzung von Freiheit, abhanden ge kommen. Erschwerend kommt die Ablehnung der (ontologischen) Sundhaftig keit hinzu, was nicht nur das Heilsgeschehen per se obsolet werden lasst,son dern zugleich die Wiederherstellung der Beziehung zu Gott als Quelle allen Le bens a priori verunmoglicht. Damit verschliesst sich das postmoderne Indivi duum aber gleichzeitig die Meglichkeit zur Annaherung an die Schopfungs intention von Beziehung und Abhangigkeit der Geschlechter durch die in Jesus erlangte,endgultige Oberwindung der Sunde und deren Konsequenzen.

At the beginning of humanity we find man and woman as a couple created by
God; in post-modern society, however, this place is taken by the enlightened individual. The discrepancy is evident. Man and woman were created for a lifelong
marriage which was not only to reflect the triune creator but which was anchored in the dependence on the creator as a constitutive necessity for building
a solid, successful and lifelong marriage. This awareness of the fundamental necessity of God as the creator of man has been lost in post-modern society.
Instead we find the claim for absolute freedom, linked to the negation of the ontological
sinfulness of man. It is obvious that such negation makes the cross
and resurrection of Jesus Christ by which sin is finally overcome superfluous, rending the re-establishement of the relationship between God and man impossible.
But it is by this grounding in God the creator and redeemer alone that
man and woman will unterstand marriage in its originally intended depth and fullness.
The present study has resulted in discerning a fundamental, God-given
anthropological script which defines both relation and dependence of man and woman; this implies that these fundamental elements cannot be deliberately
transformed and/or adapted to various socio-cultural norms and expectations.
However, the post-modern understanding of gender presents itself in clear opposition
to this creational view. Nowadays, gender identity is seen solely as a
socio-cultural structure and therefore subject to unlimited changes and modifications.
In this study, one main reason for the instability of marriages in postmodern society has been discerned in the discrepancy between the permanent
anthropological basic script and the apparent variability of the relation and dependence
between man and woman. The presented work deals with social-pedagogy approaches in the issue-based youth work centres. The first part attends to the analysis of the idea {\clqq}unattached youth``. It takes aspect of the lifestyle sociology, the social education and the developmental psychology. The viewed group of the unattached youth is presented as a group of the adolescents; they have problems with the coping strategies in the post-modern society. The second part of the work takes their problems as a starting-point for the next reflec-tion. It determines criteria of the effective youth work dealing with the unattached youth. Finally the third applied part evaluates the four current types of the issue-based youth work: the German open youth work (Offene Kinder- und Jugendarbeit), the British youth work, the Czech issue-based youth work centres and the Czech open youth centres. The evaluation is focused on the criteria of the effective youth work dealing with the unat-tached youth; we derived in the second part. Overall the main aim of this work is to point out the effective issue-based youth work has to take into account the social and developmental needs of the target group.
