The topic of this thesis is to optimize the production process of ferrite cores in the company Epcos, Ltd. The work is divided into theoretical, analytical and design part. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical knowledge within the field of lean manufacturing, process mapping and mapping value streams. Based on these findings is determined the theoretical basis for the processing of other parts of the thesis. The aim of the analytical part of the analysis is to map the current state of the manufacturing process, finding bottlenecks, evaluating the results of analysis of the current state, which will be used for the design part of the thesis, to develop proposals for optimizing production bottlenecks and evaluate their contribution.

The thesis focuses on the creation of functional requirements for an information system based on process analysis of an organization. In the theoretical part introduces the reader to the basic concepts related to business processes, their modeling and relationship with the company information system. Then, two approaches to analysing the functioning of the organization are presented, namely the approach of consultancy company Logio and the MMABP methodology. The practical part describes a real project of process analysis and creation of functional requirements for IS of a trading company. The MMABP approach is then applied to the same company. In conclusion, suitability of both approaches is evaluated and observed differences between them are identified.

It explores processes in the property management business and possibilities of its facilitation by software applications that are mainly within the tasks of a technical nature. The origin of the paper lies in the process analysis of Vaše domy Ltd. which had been started earlier on. The thesis follows up with more detailed study of client request processing. The goals of the paper are: specifying company's requirements for an application software, analysing the current market situation in the field and finally it covers design and implementation of a unique software solution.

Master thesis called "Business processes reengineering in an integrated information system and the e-commerce application" proves the hypothesis that the key to successful internet business is to have correctly set the process management of a company, which, through an automated connection, displayed externally for customers through the presentation layer of the e-commerce application. The results are useful for owners of eshops, for their conception of setting up the operations of their companies and especially for the company, where the analysis was performed. According to selected company Penny Ltd., this analysis sets for its eshop Elektro-partner.cz twenty elementary processes, whose implementation will lead to saving staff time, maximum use of the information system including the possibility of implementing new modules, setting up workflow processes and possibility to make a profit and higher customer satisfaction. In the theoretical part are marketing tools 4P for eshops enhanced by services and competitiors. There is also a specially adapted Porter's value chain for eshops and is used a model of e-commerce trust. On this basis it is created the current marketing strategy of eshop including the SWOT analysis and definition of strategic objectives. Identified processes were divided into elementary, key and support groups and relationships between them were made. For the optimization process is used Hammer and Champy methodology and feasibility and success of the thesis is evaluated according to best practises reengineering projects. Reengineered processes are defined with specification, exploited documents, information system and eshop application modules, illustrated by using EPC model and they are defined metrics and specifically listed areas of improvement.

This thesis deals with questions regarding quality assurance and software testing. The subject of its theoretical part is the specification of the general concept of quality, description of standards used in the field of software product quality evaluation and finally the evaluation of software development process itself. The thesis intends to introduce the theoretical framework of software quality assurance, especially the detailed analysis of the whole software testing branch. An added value to the theoretical part constitutes the characterization of procedural approach and selected methods used towards the improvement of processes. The practical part of the thesis comprises of the exemplification -- it shows the procedural approach at software quality management, applied to a selected IT company. The main aim of the practical part is to create a purposeful project for optimization of quality assurance and software testing processes. The core of the matter is to accomplish the process analysis of the present condition of software testing methodology. For the purpose of process analysis and optimization project, the models of key processes will be created; these processes will then be depicted based on defined pattern. The description of the state-of-the-art of software product quality assurance processes is further supplemented by the evaluation of such processes maturity. The project for optimization of software testing and quality assurance processes comes from the process analysis of the present condition of software testing methodology, as well as from the evaluation of procedural models maturity. The essence of processes optimization is the incorporation of change requests and innovative intentions of individual processes into the resulting state of methodology draft. For the measurement of selected quality assurance and software testing processes, the configuration of efficiency indicators and their application on particular processes is implemented. The research on the of the state-of-the-art, as well as the elaboration of this whole project for optimization of software testing and quality assurance processes runs in conformity with the principles of DMAIC model of Six Sigma method.

The master thesis deals with business process optimization which has to be in a place due to a global implementation of a new logistic information system. The aim is to ensure a process analysis of a current status of selected processes of a company part which is going to be influenced by this implementation. Then to highlight and to stress on the biggest risks and disadvantages of a current status. Final result will be a proposal of new optimized process flows on a higher level of maturity which will meet all requirements set by a new information system, by an information need of a local management and will be helpful to customer service improvement. The first part of the thesis covers theoretical base of a business process management, process modeling and business process optimization approaches which prepare a base for their application in the second practical part of this thesis.

The author has been working for this company for two years and he got a lot of experience with this kind of business processes. The business process optimization is very actual topic in every company because there are always many opportunities for its improvement. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current status of business processes in the company Antee s.r.o. Then design their optimization for solving tasks much faster. The business process analysis is focused only on Helpdesk department. The contribution of the work is primarily in analyzing selected business processes and the usage of the proposal in the process. The introduction of the proposed solution should reduce the number of requests handled by Helpdesk as well as to offer customers a new service options.

Thesis is focused on trading information systems in capital markets. The aim of this thesis is to analyze trading information systems and create model of hypothetical online trading platform. The model should consolidate the knowledge of the existing solutions for trading in the capital market. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part provides a basic description of trading information systems in the capital market. Second, analytic part of the thesis is focused on structure of brokerage trading information system. The first analysis is focused on analyze portfolio of the current trading platforms offered by brokerage. The second analysis is focused on analyze internal functionality structure of the selected group of trading platform. The aim of this analysis is to find and describe the portfolio functionalities of trading platforms and identified the basis or standard functionalities of trading platforms. Resulting data from second analysis are important for third part for this thesis. Third, main part of this thesis is devoted on creating model of hypothetical online trading platform. This part consist several sets of models and together created one complex model of hypothetical online trading platform.

For this purpose, attention is paid to the following areas, namely knowledge management, implementation methodologies of knowledge management, process analysis and process optimization. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of basic concepts relevant to the understanding of the issues, comparing two basic approaches management of the organization and introduction of basic methodologies, techniques and notations used for modeling business processes. The practical part is an actual analysis of selected business processes, the author of the work area is restricted to the customer service center XY. And then the possible solutions identified shortcomings.
