The aim of the diploma thesis is a description of accreditational process in health care facility, namely in a medical institution, finding of potentional problems by accreditational standards implementing and the influence of accredidation on health care quality in health care facility.

This thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the systems of quality management in a particular company according to EN ISO 9001:2000. The aim of this work is to analyse the system deeply and then focus on how the system could become more effective. In this case the topic was the system of measurement of the customers´satisfaction. In the theoretical part there is the overall view of quality from the historical point of view up to the present. For better understanding of the problem the principles of ISO standards, maintenance of the systems and improvement instruments are mentioned. In the practical part there is the analysis of the particular system of quality management and the process of application of improvement procedures.

The products, which can be labelled with a mark of conformity are included in regulated sphere and they have to ful fill the given requirments before makrket introduction. This diploma thesis is dealing with the aspects which have to fulfilled before the nonautomatic weighing instruments from are introduced to the market. The diploma thesis also revises current methods and proceeds of conformity assessment on ES workplace of conformity assessment accordin to appropriate norms, documents and directives. The aim is also to make a new quality manual for the ES workplace of conformity assessment.

[pt] O objetivo da dissertação é propor um sistema de gestão da qualidade para o Programa de Pós-graduação em Metrologia, Qualidade e Inovação (PósMQI) da PUC-Rio, segundo referenciais normativos internacionais e a Norma NBR 15419:2006. No contexto institucional no qual a pesquisa se insere, considera-se que esse esforço contribuirá significativamente para a melhoria dos serviços prestados e qualidade dos produtos oferecidos pelo PósMQI, agregando eficiência e eficácia às suas atividades e reconhecimento formal pela excelência da atuação do Programa. A implantação do sistema da qualidade constitui pré-condição à certificação, servindo de modelo para outras instituições de ensino almejam melhorar a qualidade de seus serviços e produtos. A metodologia adotada compreende pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre os temas centrais da dissertação e estudo de caso, tendo como foco o PósMQI. Destaca-se como resultado a proposta de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade para o Programa PósMQI, em conformidade com os requisitos normativos aplicáveis. / [en] The objective of this dissertation is to propose a quality management system for the Postgraduate Programme in Metrology (PósMQI) at PUC-Rio, according to international normative frameworks and the national standard NBR 15419:2006. Within the institutional context in which this research took place, it is considered that this effort will significantly contribute to the improvement of services provided by PósMQI and the quality of its products; greater efficiency and effectiveness of Program organization; formal recognition of Program excellence, considering a future certification program. Additionally, it is believed that it can serve as a model for other educational institutions that wish to improve the quality of their services and products. The methodology encompasses bibliographical and documental review on the central themes of the dissertation and a case study, focusing on PósMQI quality management. The main results is a proposal of a Quality Management System for Program PósMQI in accordance with applicable normative requirements.

Every organization, that wants to be competitive in the market, must constantly improve and find new, better and smarter procedures of individual processes. This thesis describes and analyses the existing quality management system of the suppliers selection and evaluation process in the medium sized engineering company. The work contains recommendations and suggestions for possible improvements of the system.

This Master's thesis analyses the company Prosport Praha s.r.o. from the perspective of Standard ISO 9001. Purpose of this study is to compare the current situation in the company with the individual requirements of Standard ISO 9001. The required changes to improve the present situation are proposed in all areas where the company does not meet ISO 9001 requirements to enable the company to achieve compliance with the standard. After the analysis the degree of present fulfilment of Standard ISO 9001 requirements is evaluated and the Quality manual of the company Prosport Praha s.r.o. is created.

My main intention of this thesis is to describe the preparation for the re-certification audit of the integrated management system in the way someone else except for me has a benefit from my experience in this area. I will depict which actions have to be done, what, when and how it has to be checked. In all parts, not just in the project one, I will try to integrate some advices into the text, e.g. how the internal auditors should behave. As this thesis is finished after the end of the audit, I will be able to strike a balance of my proposals according to the results of the audit.

The thesis is focused on improving quality control in the sales department of the company. First describes established processes and quality systems based on ISO 9001. The next part deals with proposals for improving the operation of established processes change some of them and the introduction of completely new processes.
