(2) How the properties of the learner influence acquisition and retention. The property of the task investigated was that of evaluative meaning and/or affectivity of certain concepts (words). The property of the learner investigated was that of score on the Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (MAS). Sujects The subjects were students in a n introductory psychology course at Boston University.
