Ulč, Jan January 2011 (has links)
In this work we have tried to make analysis of specialized activity of setter's sets. Our research observed five setters from the best european club competitions- Michal Sládeček, Raphael Vieira de Oliveiro, Lukasz Zygadl, Sergey Grankyn and Simon Fischer. The analysis of their game performance in six Champion League matches 2009/2010 was focused on quality of the set, its frequency into particular directions and kind of the set from two different qualities of reception. We also concentrated on laying-out of sets and their qualities until the first sequence. For gathering objective information we used a method of indirect observation. We also had video recordings of all six chosen Champion League matches 2009/2010.Conclusions and results of the thesis could be used during the training process, mainly to improve game activities of an individual. In concrete terms we focused on the position of a setter who works as a prolonged hand of a trainer and is influenced by his commands from the point of view of tactics. This work could refer to the right and tactical laying-out of sets in matches and importance of quality of the set. Creating the metodology for recording and evaluation of the set which is dependent on the previous reception helped us evaluate the individual game performance of the setters in their...

Title: Vertical jump comparison of women's volleyball players Objectives: The aim of this work was to coparison of vertical jump, postural stability and body composition of women's volleyball players before and after season 2012/2013. During the season there was a deliberate intervention to develop explosive power. By the comparing the input and output of results we conclude that the training developed or didn't develop explosive power of the lower limbs, and that had an effect on body composition and stability. Methods: The study included 10 women from 2. Volleyball League (n=10 , age = ± 20,6 years, height = ± 172,7 cm, BMI = ± 0,19 kg/cm2 ). For input and output testing, we used three different tests. First, we measured body composition, then postural stability (1) narrow standing with eyes open (the US-OO), (2) narrow standing with eyes closed (the US-ZO), (3) standing on the right lower limb "flamingo test "(the FLA-R), (4) stands on the left lower limb (the FLA-L). Finally, the players performed six types of vertical jump. Jump with the upper limbs (V1 - Countermovement jump free arms) jump without the help of the upper limbs (V2 - Countermovement jump), jump from squatting (V3 - Squat jump), when the whole movement only made up, without countermovement, block jump (V4 - Block), moving one...

Akutní vliv statického a dynamického strečinku na výskok / Acute effect of static and dynamic stretching on vertical jump

Dostálová, Anna January 2017 (has links)
Title Acute effect of static and dynamic stretching on vertical jump. Objectives The aim of this thesis is to assess whether it is better to warm up by static or dynamic stretching in order to improve performance in the vertical jump. Methods The first part of this thesis is theoretical and is the basis for measurement, which is described in the second part. The tested set consists of ten women volleyball players. Each player underwent three vertical jump measurements on power plates Kistler, which recorded flight time of the player over the plates. All measurements were evaluated afterwards. Five attempts were recorded in each measurement. Measurements were carried out without stretching, after dynamic stretching and after static stretching. The thesis includes a survey that monitors the perception of the players` performance. Results Results of the total tested set measurement show that inclusion of dynamic stretching during the warm up leads to a slight decline in the physical performance. This decrease presents about 0.92%. Another conclusion of this research is that the inclusion of static stretching to the warm up also results in a slight decrease in the athletic performance. In this case the decrease is about 1.72%. In a direct comparison of these two types of stretching, the inclusion of...

Efeito das alterações induzidas pelo treinamento combinado de força e potência nas ações técnico-tática-estratégicas de jogadoras de voleibol / Effects of combined strength and plyometric training on technic, tactic and strategic volleyball game actions

Kitamura, Katia Regina Pascoto 25 March 2013 (has links)
Entretanto, este foi o primeiro estudo a investigar tal relação, de modo que, pesquisas adicionais e a busca por meios de avaliação capazes de identificar de modo objetivo e preciso as alterações físicas num contexto específico do jogo são necessários / The aims of this study were test if performance in volleyballs skills (i.e. service, re-ception, set, spike, block and dig), as well as their combinations and game phases (side out and side out transition), are influenced by muscle power improvements achieved with a com-bined training (CT). Twenty-eight amateurs volleyball players from two different teams par-ticipated on this study. Players were assigned to either a control (CG;n=14) or training (TG;n=14) group. TG performed eight weeks of CT, twice a week, using plyometric and tra-ditional strength exercises for both the lower and upper limbs. Both groups maintained their technical-tactical training routines. Motor (1RM squat and bench press, time on agility T modified test, medicineball throw distance, countermovement jump height (CMJ), reactive strength index (RSI), and peak power in jump squat and bench throw exercises) and sport-specific performance(game analysis) were accessed before and after experimental protocol. Squat and bench press 1RM, agility T test-time, bench throw-peak power and medicineball throw distance improved for the TG (p<0,05). However, there were no differences between groups in any of the motor variables tested (p>0,05). It seems that TG had improved and changed the type of set, type and time of attacks, number of blockers and getting behind the ball to dig. Actions game combinations seemed have improved also, especially type of set from different set zones after reception and dig, sets to the farthest distances, attacks in oppo-sition to two players blocks and number of blockers to high balls, as well as digs to attacks without block, with a single player block and after ball touches block and digs for quick at-tacks also. Besides, it seems that TG had improved their type and time of attacks in KI when they were initiated with receptions after displacements, and time of attacks in KII when teams were serving, as well as when they were initiated with dig after displacements. Finally, total game actions effectiveness was little or no influenced by increasing strength and power per-formances. Since this was the first research that had investigated if increasing strength and power output also improve sport specific performances, additional researches are necessary, as well as an instrument which measures precisely and objectively the alterations in games actions in a game specific context must be search
