[pt] Esta dissertação tem como tema central o Teatro Negro e doravante esta temática, constrói uma relação de investigação com Rodrigo França e seus empreendimentos. A partir de trabalho de campo realizado com este sujeito e sua rede de relações, em especial na produção do espetáculo Jorge Pra Sempre Verão, temos a produção de uma etnografia. Tal empreendimento é realizado na perspectiva de articular arte, antropologia, educação e práticas políticas. Com objetivo de considerar as contribuições de Rodrigo França e sua pedagogia antirracista, que perpassa os múltiplos campos de atuação deste sujeito, mas também verificando em que medida suas ações são fruto de uma continuidade histórica, é empreendida uma pesquisa acerca de dois momentos do Teatro Negro. O Teatro Abolicionista e o Teatro Experimental do Negro ganham destaque, pois, nos ajudam a refletir em que medida conseguimos articular teatro, educação e práticas políticas. Ainda que a partir de diferentes atuações e práticas, são capazes de produzir agência e transformações dentro e fora dos palcos. Na intenção de estabelecer conexões entre teatro e educação, aqui a arte é considerada a partir de suas capacidades agentivas e conectivas. A pedagogia antirracista empreendida por tais movimentos se faz necessária e urgente na construção de uma sociedade democrática e justa. / [en] This dissertation has as central theme the Black Theater and henceforth this theme, builds an investigation relationship with Rodrigo França and his enterprises. From a fieldwork carried out with this subject and his network of relationships, especially in the production of the show Jorge Pra Sempre Verão, we have the production of an ethnography. This enterprise was carried out from the perspective of articulating art, anthropology, education, and social movements. In order to consider the contributions of Rodrigo França and his anti-racist pedagogy, which permeates the multiple fields of action of this subject, but also verifying to what extent his actions are the fruit of a historical continuity, a research about two moments of the Black Theater is undertaken. The Teatro Abolicionista and the Teatro Experimental do Negro are highlighted because they help us to reflect to what extent we can articulate theater, education and political practice, even if with different performances and practices, are able to produce agency and transformations on and off the stage. In the intention of establishing connections between theater and education, art is considered here from its agentive and connective capacities. The anti-racist pedagogy undertaken by such movements is necessary and urgent in the construction of a democratic and just society.

[pt] A pesquisa analisa três personagens de textos dramatúrgicos publicados em Dramaturgia Negra (2018), a primeira antologia de textos teatrais negros brasileiros. Abou, personagem do texto Quando eu morrer vou contar tudo a Deus; Bruno, personagem de Será que vai chover? e A Mulher do Fundo do Mar, personagem de Antimemórias de uma travessia interrompida. A análise busca valorizar producões artísticas que se dedicam a elaborar personagens negras a partir de referências contra hegemônicas, dando-lhes relevo e complexidade que as deslocam das velhas imagens raciais negras construídas a partir de estereótipos e do imaginário produzido no âmbito do discurso hegemônico da branquitude. / [en] The research analyzes three characters from dramaturgical texts published in Dramaturgia Negra (2018), the first anthology of black Brazilian theatrical texts. Abou, character in the text When I die I will tell God everything; Bruno, character of Will it rain? and The Woman of the Bottom of the Sea, a character in Antimemories of an interrupted crossing. The analysis seeks to value artistic productions that are dedicated to developing black characters from counterhegemonic references, giving them relief and complexity that displace them from the old black racial images constructed from stereotypes and the imaginary produced within the hegemonic discourse of whiteness.
