E a partir desta, e de seu registro, busca-se recuperar esta semântica etnobiológica. Analisou-se os métodos de pesquisa utilizados pela etnografia/etnologia, assim como, a documentação visual existente e as informações disponíveis -ou que podem ser friccionadas - nas interfaces: cultura/ambiente, e arte/ciência. Uma contribuição no presente trabalho consiste em uma revisão crítica dessas informações obtidas em trabalhos anteriores, através da ótica da inter-ação metodológica. Vislumbra-se o espaço dos museus a ser explorado; quando propõe aproxima-los das coleções que comporta com a gema de aspectos observáveis e relacionáveis, por intermédio dos meios audiovisuais. Trabalhando num imbricamento da ciência, arte e estética este estudo na área de multimeios propõe atualizar esta interdisciplinaridade / Abstract: The work's goal is to investigate, using sonorized diapositives, informations related to an indicator, a referent from nature (the Edentata, the Perissodactyla, the Dasyoproctidae and the Cebidae), present in the material culture of the great Kayapó Indian nation. As a description of the project we are able to say that this investigation reflects the interest in the Indian codes for visual communication, and in the knowledge that these people have on the animal species wich compose the regional environment where they live. At the same time it reflects the preoccupation with the extinction of these species and of the Indians groups. The methods of research utilized by ethnography / ethnology were analysed as well as the existing visual documentation and the information available within culture / environment and art/science interfaces. One important part of the present work consists in a critical revision of the informations obtained in the previous analysis, in order to meet a methodological interaction. The museum has much to be explored, for this it must bring near the collections it contains, in search of a better profit, obtained from observable relating clues wich are to be supplied the very resources available / Mestrado / Mestre em Multimeios

O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir a natureza da ergatividade cindida do Mebengokre. Minha hipótese sobre a ergatividade do Mebengokre, língua canonicamente SOV, é a de que há uma forte relação entre posição ocupada pelo verbo, suas propriedades verbais e o sistema de caso da língua. O capítulo 1 consistitui uma introdução geral sobre o povo Mebengokre, sua língua, as estapas do trabalho de campo, bem como a apresentação do fenômeno gramatical conhecido como ergatividade, com especial referência à línguas da família Jê .O capítulo 2 focaliza aspectos da morfossintaxe verbal. Nele discute-se a distinção entre nomes e verbos; categorias verbais, processos de mudança de valência. O capítulo 3 está dedicado à descrição do sistema pronominal. A principal questão a ser problematizada neste capítulo diz respeito ao estatuto dos prefixos de pessoa enquanto categoria sintática, isto é, se são pronomes ou concordância. Por fim, o capítulo 4 retoma a discussão sobre a manifestação da ergatividade cindida, apresentando argumentos a favor da hipótese de que a manifestação do sistema nominativo ou ergativo depende da natureza do elemento que ocupa a posição de núcleo do predicado / Abstract: This dissertation examines the phenomenon of split ergativity in Mebengokre, language of the northern branch of Jê family spoken by the Xikrin and Kayapo nations in the states of Mato Grosso and Pará in Brazil. Mebengokre is a canonicaly SOV language that shows consequences in the syntax, specifically in the case marking, when this order is not preserved. I explore the hypothesis that there is a strong link between the position of the verb, its verbal properties, and the case-marking system in this language. According to this hypothesis the split ergativity depends of the nature of the category filling the head position in the predicate. Thus I consider that in the accusative construction the predicate head is filled by the thematic verb while that position in the ergative construction is filled by a functional head / Mestrado / Mestre em Linguística

Raoni teve uma participação fundamental em diversos episódios da história indígena e sua imagem é bastante difundida, estampando campanhas, homenagens e matérias midiáticas, o que confirma o seu caráter emblemático. Tendo isso em vista, a presente dissertação objetiva realizar um mapeamento da trajetória desse importante líder, bem como refletir acerca dos elementos subjacentes à repercussão por ele adquirida, dialogando, para tanto, com a questão das representações históricas sobre os povos indígenas / Abstract: Better known as Raoni, the indigenous leader Mebêngôkre (Kayapó) Ropni Metyktire is, for decades, considered an icon, in national and international scene, the claim by the indigenous rights, the resistance against the violation of such rights and the struggle to preserve forests. Raoni had key role in several episodes of Indian history and his image is quite widespride, stamping campaigns, tributes and media materials, which confirms his emblematic character.
